Spoiler [+] I just have to laugh at the people who said we had to take the word of the advertisers as holy text. "There is one killer and only one killer and NO accomplices." Somehow the Booth theory has more resonance now. Who else would have hung Maggie unless Jimmy did it and then pretended to be unconscious, Wakefield, or Booth still alive? (If it is Booth still alive, I will laugh at everyone who mocked us who thought that could be the case. The took the word of the producer and advertisers (of all people) as holy gospel and dismissed the words of the actor.) Now we know when Kelly said she saw Wakefield she wasn't crazy. The Sheriff was obviously killed by Wakefield, so unless Wakefield killed everyone else and we spend the next three episodes watching them run from Wakefield, there is more than one killer. If the other killer is on the bingo card, it makes me wonder if they are even aware their "dad' is still alive. I had been thinking Henry this whole time, but it would make sense if it were Jimmy. It's probably the only reason that Wakefield let Jimmy live. Did Wakefield actually kill all those people all those years ago? Well, if nothing else, the writers threw in twists I was not expecting. It's a totally different story unfolding now. The producers did say we might find out who the killer is before the last episode. So, there is a chance that John Wakefield is the one and only killer and we get a three episode chase sequence. Wonder if Wakefield will let Abby live? Wow. I just cannot believe it. Amazing. It will be at the end of the episode and it will be Wakefield. Revealing him with 3 episodes to go only stands to reason that he will be taken out soon to WTF the audience and leave everyone guessing for the last couple episodes. Besides....where the hell do you go with Wakefields story now. The only other thing i can see happening is Wakefield takes Abby - A group, led by Henry, goes to find her - They kill Wakefield - Cal and Sully arrive with the boat - end of episode......not before someone else gets murdered leaving the rest to WTF themselves for the next 2 episodes. So, either Wakefield dies mid episode, or is the end of episode death. Either way, cant see him lasting past the next episode. I'm still standing very firmly on the Jimmy is the killer theory and that he is wakefields kid though for some reason, im starting to like the idea that its Chloe...dont know why. Just seems like it would be a good ending to have Cal find out Chloe is doing this.

Mr. Wellington discovered one of his daughter's was a Wakefield spawn and paid the Sheriff off to frame Wakefield and "eliminate" him from his wife's and daughter's life. The Sheriff also discovering his wife cheated on him felt jaded thus wanting revenge himself. The Sheriff approached Jimmy about being a "witness" and the plan was set, Wakefield was framed. If you recall Katherine paid off alot of the Wellington's clans bills when they hit an income issue. Wakefield who was mad that he was set-up went after the 3 people that pushed him. Wellington, Jimmy, and The Sheriff. Wakefield rigged the trap at the wedding, the boat for Jimmy, and the Sheriff. The Sheriff took blame for it and telling Jimmy what to do thus sparring Jimmy's life. Now Wakefield's bastard child (Trish or Shea) has discovered they are indeed Wakefield spawn. They blame Abby for everything that is going on and used the wedding as a means to get to her and to punish the people on the island. They want people to suspect Wakefield is alive and that Abby is too blame. They want to tarnish Abby's name and have people hate her. I'm thinking its Trish or Shea b/c nobody in their family has really died minus Mr. Wellington who we can blame on Wakefield. They hate people that "cheat" on one another thus the cheaters/liars have died. Also clearly the killer is well off as they didn't touch the large amount of money left in the boat. Uncle Marty - Crooked Kelly - Cheated on Shane Lucy - IDK maybe something they knew in her past. Hunter - Obvious there for money and not Trish Booth - Was willing to go in the money scheme. Mr. Wellington - Was not killed by the killer Richard - Cheated on Shea. Broke Shea's heart. . .kinda pierced through his. Malcom - Money scheme JD - Knew the killer he had to go Beth - Wanted to do the immoral thing and leave the island Katherine - Same as Richard. Kinda stabbed through the heart. Maggie - For walking around being a fat bitch Sheriff - Not killed by the killer.

The advertisers could have invented the "1 killer" quote to make it sound like the show Survivor tag: "39 days, 16 castaways, 1 survivor". I think we need to let the "1 killer" thing go. Unless Wakefield killed everybody and we watch 3 episodes of chase sequences, there is more than one killer. One of the 25 is probably also a killer. It was probably Wakefield dressed as a Sheriff. If Booth is Alive, it fits with 1/3 of the people saying, "Who's that"? Same with Nikki, not with Jimmy, Trish or Shea. Arguably, Wakefield could have immediately pulled Booth out of the dirt after he left. With Wakefield allowing Nikki to go into the Cannery and Jimmy to live, one of them could be Wakfield's kid. Note however that according to the Harper's Globe news archives, Nikki's father died around the time of the Wakefield killings and then she inherited the Cannery. However, the killer is uploading videos on Harper's Globe. Somehow I don't think Wakefield is connected to wi-fi. The interesting question is why Wakefield let Nikki and Jimmy live. From the flashback episode they were going "camping" but they never really got around to that since Wakefield was just starting his killing streak then. All we've really seen that they've done together is just make out, and even still that's just creepy.

My guess is that it's Wakefield and his kid. Which brings us back to square one, it can be anyone. Even a female, since for all the murders she wouldn't have the "strength" to do, Wakefield could have done it. It begs the question, why the hell did Nikki get a free pass into the bar? Did Wakefield let her in there to spy? It's also werid that she wasn't killed this episode because people who come back from oblivion or are a huge suspect, usually die shortly after.

It makes sense I guess, but it just seems lame to have the killer be someone who just disappeared for 3/4 of the show and that's how the writer's will explain how the killer did everything undetected.

You're all right - there is no way to get around Wakefield being the killer or one of the killers. I agree that there is still a twist some where so it has to be him and his kid. He killed the Sheriff for revenge...or maybe he didn't kill him after all? Wakefield is going to die next episode I bet. Also, where the fuck did Maggie's hanging corpse go? They featured it prominently in the beginning but by the end of the eppy she was gone. I THINK ITS DEAD BOOTH AND DEAD MAGGIE. AND ABBY'S DEAD MOM.

He got his revenge on the sheriff and shot at the group, but the other killings had to be someone else (or I'll be pissed off). Wakefield was not dressed in a sheriff costume at the end.

They're all locals, and Sheriff and Kelly are tied to previous victims so it makes sense he might still have a vendetta against them. Maggie might have a connection we don't know about as well. I really hope that's the case and hope he had nothing to do with the other killings. However, I'm preparing myself for some level of disappointment because of Sheriff's speech to Abby before he died. He said that Abby is the only person strong enough to kill Wakefield, and that makes me think that her effort to kill him with the help of her friends is going to take up most of the next three episodes. But I still think it's Jimmy (Wakefield's son - and I think they made a point of showing us that Abby and Jimmy never slept together for that reason) and little old Julia (Wakefield's mommy).

(bad writting, bad actors, bad editing) Y'all should write for the show it would end up being way better with more twists and turns than the actual writters!! Spoiler [+] Wakefield is our killer. (1 and only..always has been) Abby is his child. (could be Henry...but I am still putting my money on Abby) He done all this for revenge on the sheriff and the town for #1 putting him away for 7 years in the first place. #2 Keeping his kid from him. He blames the Sheriff and the Locals. Why did Niki get to go in safely? To draw the others out. Make them think he gone etc... only stupid Maggie went out, she paid for it. Niki is no more revelent than Maggie...don't try to make her so. Why did Jimmy survive?... he jumped off (maybe sheriff was on the other side?) Sheriff saw Wakefield go up to Jimmy...Sheriff offered himself up to Wakefield as a trade. When did Wakefield get the uniform? When he went into the jail to break the radio. Why not kill JD and Shane in thier cells? It's a game...where would the fun be in killing them in a cell? Wakefield was Madisons new friend. Remember this is a game to him...he's having fun. He is now the hunter, the thrill of the chase etc... sure he could just have killed them all in the cannery...BUT where is the fun in that? yes, it's dissapointing that they weren't more creative than just...Wakefield never died etc... but I think the simplest solution is right (oocmans razor and all that) etc...

But, I thought I'd post it anyway. While it could be true, I doubt the person who wrote it has any more knowledge than anyone else.

Something about it didn't feel right yeppppp. I don't know why more people aren't suspecting Shea at this point, I really think its her. Shes Wakefield's daughter, blah blah. Shea, who was acting strange, and is always high strung. When you think about it, we really don't know anything about the original Mama Wellington. Could she have had an affair with Wakefield? How did she die? Shea was in the truck with Trish when Katherine was offed though. Exactly. They're showing Shea spazzing out and snapping on everyone all around her. Just to show that the bitch is crazay. Also, we don't know EXACTLY when Katherine died, since she was just found dead. Yeah Shane said she hadn't been dead long, but that could have been a trap. And if it wasn't long at all, Shea WAS back at the Inn at that point. And, again, Shea being the killer provides conflict with the two leads, Abby and Trish, her two half-sisters, instead of someone who would only provide conflict with one or the other.

Unless Wakefield and the original Mrs. Wellington had an affair... but then who would be Sarah's kid?
