Flavor of Love (season 3) is the third season of the VH1 reality television series entitled Flavor of Love, in which Flavor Flav brings female contestants into his mansion to compete for his love. The third season premiered on February 11, 2008, featuring 25 contestants.^[1]

Flavor of Love 1 redefined trainwreck reality TV, and Flavor of Love 2 took that to a new level and spurned a ton of awesome spinoffs. But it took close to two years before we finally got Flavor of Love 3, which Flav repeatedly stated would be the last season. And sadly it didn't really stand up to all the other seasons and spin-offs, though it's definitely good on its own and has a decent cast anyway.

1. Ice. Ice definitely wasn't the first person on the show for fame and not for the love of sexy manbeast Flavor Flav, but she was probably the most overt about it. She didn't make it much of a secret that she was there to promote her radio show, and she actually avoided kissing Flav because, well, he's in his fifties. She got eliminated in episode 3, but she did get some exposure and a slot on I Love Money 2, so it worked out.
2. Myammee. Myammee seemed like a strong contender at the start, probably because she had one of the best bodies there and somehow wasn't repulsed by Flav. However, at one point a man calls and says he wants $1000 from Myammee, supposedly Myammee's pimp. Of course, it ended up being a set-up, I think by jealous twat Rayna, but she still got eliminated for it. I'm sure she doesn't give a shit now since that appearance ended up netting her an eventual win in ILM2.
3. Shy. She had some great enthusiasm and was definitely one of the funnier contestants on the show. She even got along well with Flav, at least until Flav got a whiff of her breath. From then on, every conversation she had was overshadowed by discussions of how bad her breath was, with editing doing a great job as ever of continuously emitting green fog from her mouth every time she spoke. Eventually her bad breath got her eliminated, and apparently it hurt her so much that we probably won't ever get to see her on any spin-offs any time soon.
4. New girls. Saaphyri and Buckwild graced their awesome presence for a challenge on the pretense that Saaphyri was a successful business owner with her own line of Lip Chap, and I guess most of these contestants have probably been or are going to be in jail at some point. After elimination, they bring in four new girls as a twist, to get the other girls to step up their game. Unfortunately, three of these girls were complete bores, but there was one who shined, but more on that later.
5. Hotlanta. What a glorious mess. She was probably one of the most there for Flav, and thus she was also one of the craziest people there, since, well, the two kinda go hand-in-hand. She ended up getting pissed because Flav wouldn't defend her after the Klingon bashed her, and she started talking shit about Flav and how he didn't own the mansion they're living in, which was true. She got crazier and crazier until Flav finally eliminated her. Hopefully she'll net an appearance on ILM one of these days.
6. Tree. A tall woman with her own share of crazy. She had some great screaming moments and some neat quirks here and there, and she helped make the season somewhat interesting until she left at F5. I'd go into more detail, but my memory sucks so all I remember is her wailing at the FoL1 reenactment/wedding challenges. Regardless, Tree for ILM3 please.
7. Seezinz. She was smart and played a good game. She managed to drop out of the ex-boyfriend challenge to show she's there for Flav when really it was to avoid her ex-boyfriend I think. She had a great feud with Sinceer, who she kept referring to as a Klingon because of her massive forehead. She ended up leaving around F3 or so. Yet another person I want to see on ILM, which is surprising considering how boring I thought the cast was.
8. Sinceer. Definitely a bit underhanded and a bitter, obnoxious person. If you looked at the FoL3 popularity poll, less than 1% liked her. She had a huge forehead, which got her comparisons to a Klingon, and she had a feud with Seezinz, where Seezinz kept dominating her. Sinceer got Thing 2 eliminated, but it bit her in the ass after Flav brought Thing 2 back and decided to eliminate Sinceer at the new F3.
9. Things. This season had twin sisters, which Flav decided to call Thing 1 and Thing 2, after a Dr. Seuss book. At first, they shared one clock and acted as one person, but later on Flav decided to split them up, eliminating Thing 1 but keeping Thing 2 around. Thing 2 made it to the F4, where she was eliminated for supposedly not being strong without her sister there, but Flav ends up bringing her back anyway and Thing 2 ends up winning. Surely since this is the last season Flav's ever doing, Flav and Thing 2 are going to live happily ever after, right?
10. Liz. So during the reunion, Flav ends up proposing to Liz, who was actually not a contestant, but rather the mother of his latest child and who was around behind-the-scenes of FoL3. So after three seasons, Flav finally found love, except it was someone not on the show. Oh well, happily ever after and all.

It was an alright season, with some good characters and moments. It's just that it couldn't compare to, say, Pumkin spitting on New York, or Somethin shitting on the floor, or Buckwild wiggering out, or Hottie microwaving raw chicken. Flavor of Love raised the standard for trashy trainwreck television, and FoL3 just couldn't stand up to its predecessors. It was a good season, and there's a few people I'd love to see on I Love Money again, but overall it just didn't have the same magic that the other shows had. Probably good that Flav retired from celebreality when he did.
