6. Zesty's Survivor: The Game
I lol @ such an innovative title. Y'know for such an iconic character of mine, Go.ddessAdelle is actually my second lowest placement ever? (Er...as long as we're only counting games that actually finished ) But damn was she, and this game epical. I mean sure the board didn't look pretty, it was just a regular...bland invision board without any colorful skin. And sure the challenges weren't that exciting or anything out of the ordinary. A spam challenge. A couple trivia speed challenges. A puzzle or two. Yes even battleship...everyone's favo game to play <333

What makes this game sepcial? Why, the cast of course! And by "the cast" I only mean everyone who made jury and onwards. There were a couple pre-merge boots who actually tried (mostly on the other tribe), but for the most part they were inactive and the most deserving people, who actually took the game seriously and were putting effort into showing up, got to the end. Zesty recruited a bunch of people who had never played an ORG before, and that's what made the experience so magical. They were all so appreciative and had such a great attitude about the whole process. ^_^ The jury lodge was one of the most friendly environments I have ever seen. No one was bitter at all. How refreshing.

Anyway, we started on two tribes....Luari and Balkia. The cast were some random faces Zesty swiped from...some site. Which is cool, since we were able to create whatever persona we wanted with these anoynymous people, unlike getting assigned a Survivor who already has an established reputation. On my tribe of nine...there were basically only four people who showed up regularly to compete at every challenge. What did we call ourselves? The Fantastic Four? Eh...that was probably after the fact. We weren't allowed to PM the other tribe. That meant...very little PMing. Strategy was almost non-existent. We didn't need to strategize because we hardly ever lost. And when we did, there were plenty of people lined up to go. =/

My tribe Luari was quite the tragic tale. We were subjected to a series of unfortunate events. First, two people (on opposite tribes) had been talking about playing in this game at the S&S board, which had recently ended. I was also a part of that game, but I wisely kept my mouth shut. A dur. That ended in one of our tribe members having to quit once it was found out. I dunno why they weren't both removed. So we were down a member before the very first challenge. Luckily, being one of the only people in the game who had actually played a game before, I had a leg up in challenges and became a challenge pwning machine. =O Lmao, yes imagine that. Me, a challenge whore <333

We won four challenges. They only won two. Yet we still manged to merge 5-5. How is that possible you ask? Why...there was a lovely "bottle twist" right before the merge of course! >_> How convenient! Not that it was a big deal, since we were only booting non-existant people. But that's where we blew it. We merged with a weak link who was barely active. She had one past vote, and past votes were the tiebreaker. You'd think we'd be alright, with the lame losing Balkians having gone to 4 TCs. Except apparently we managed to vote for the one person who didn't have any past votes. Oh they got us. They got us good.

As the tribe's perceived "leader" and strongest competitor, I was obviously the first to go. W00t go me. At least I made the jury <3 Getting pagonged is so fun sometimes. I even fell asleep and missed my own boot. Lolol, good times. It's ironic...I was hardcore enough to leave an exam early to be on time for a challenge, yet I was careless enough to nap through my epic last TC. Anyway...it wasn't all t.ears for Luari. Isaac, our last surviving member managed to get all the way to the F3, since apparently there was a battle of the sexes at the end. Too bad because of scheduling issues, he was simply removed. We joke that he was eaten by an elephant. Eaten or stomped on? Or taken a dump on...whatever.

What I remember about this game: 1) How tight-knit the cast became at the end of it. The board was active for quite a while afterwards. In fact every month or so you'll see a new post from someone checking in, giving an update of their lives or something. Apparently we are all supposed to get back together and play a mole game, but it never took off. 2) Underdogs! No, we weren't the underdogs. They were the underdogs. We were the Kucha to their Ogakor, and once again Kucha's story ended in tragedy. Oh and the game's winner Penny was also in a sticky situation from F6-F4 and managed to get to the end, winning 6-1. Girl powah? <3 3) That thread Zesty started that will never be finished. No seriously, how many ongoing ORG threads do you see here in Clubs? It's become a long-running joke, but it's still fabulous ^_^ And yes, much better than Dr. Will 2.0's "Malaysia fanfic" that wasn't
