No way he's mixed. Somebody with 31% NN by voters is NO way mixed, unless there was also 31% PP or something too.

Except the problem is that many people gave him an N just for being Coach and an NN for getting so much screentime and stuff, which equals an OTT, not an NN.

I think the NN votes were just people who've dismissed Coach as some jerkass lunatic and dismissed any possible P moments for him as just OTT. We're
looking at his EDIT, and they manipulated it to give him P moments. maybe if we got his transcript of those 3 days without any fancy editing stuff like
sympathetic music, we'd all vote N. But they, in a quite obvious way, manipulated Coach to not be so N like in most of his other episodes.
I think this was Coach's most P episode. He has to be M since he's obviously not P because there were N moments for him. |

They mocked him pretty relentlessly all season. Did that really change in the final episode? It didn't seem like it to me, and I definitely wasn't a

That's fine if that was the reaction, Oo, but that would be from all the prior negative editting Coach got during the season. For his BOOT EPISODE, he was
not editted as entirely negative. He was editted as sympathetic, with the decoy boot getting negative SPV for trashing him.

I don't know where you're getting this "sympathetic" edit stuff from. Just the music ?
Another N I remember is Coach begging JT (before the RC) not to send him to exile (ie: send one of the females). JT even had a blast for Coach in a confessional for trying to avoid taking his turn at exile. All of the Ns I've listed more than offset any "sympathetic" edit. |

The difference between M and NN is so harsh. We should just allow the choice of N too, like we did with Tyson and the M in episode 1.

2 cents...
the reason i voted Mixed for Coach was for two reasons.... 1. his tone was all over the map. 2. I left the episode feeling like it was up to the audience to decide if it was good bad ugly or something else. no matter how i sliced it, still came up as mixed for me. AND I haven't forgotten about the final episode stats... i have been swamped recently... a couple of big projects wrapping up at the same time, and a whopping series of migraines that has pretty much taken any remaining energy... i'll touch base again in the next day or 2 to set a final time. thanks. |
