We used to put the playing card with the clothes pin in the spokes to make noise, just to further annoy the neighbors. I also remember putting spoke covers on too. Those things could take a beating better than most mountain bikes today.

Teachers would give us them for tests, It was so exciting to see which sticker you would get. ...and bugging mama blues to order them out of the Regal Catalogue. Good Times!

I forgot all about those !looked like thick straws. We grew up in the country and I'l never forget the times I rode my bike all 5 miles into town for school and to hang out. it was so awesome .

At college, where there something like 10,000 bikes in motion at 9:55 every school day, and a Schwinn Varsity assured you victory if a bike collision occurred. God Bless those beasts.
