all you guys posting the Schwinn Stingrays? there is a huge subculture I guess you'd call it, of people redoing these because of memories of their
childhood bikes. People go nutso for them. So if you have one, hang on to it.

Stingrays were hot when I was a kid. I had to settle for my sister's hand me down big blue Schwinn. But I settled, and I liked it, dammit!

I had the Schwinn Fairlady --- mine looked exactly like this one, with that exact seat.
We used to put the playing card with the clothes pin in the spokes to make noise, just to further annoy the neighbors. I also remember putting spoke covers on too. Those things could take a beating better than most mountain bikes today. |

1:64 NASCAR Winston Cup diecasts -- I had hundreds of them (and 1:24's too). I'm using that as all 3 of my items. |

has anyone posted the big bird/fisher price record player? I still see those at record shows - lots of big burly guys carrying them around to play 45s on

Schwinn Varsity bikes were the Sherman Tanks of bikes. At college, where there something like 10,000 bikes in motion at 9:55 every school day, and a Schwinn
Varsity assured you victory if a bike collision occurred. God Bless those beasts. Made in America, too!
