He is the anti-Jacob, it seems. I think that most (if not all) are in agreement that it is the man from the beginning of the episode who claims to want to kill
Jacob, and somehow, in the image of Locke, he finds a loophole to do just that (convincing Ben to kill Jacob). We don't have much more information as of
right now.
