I know the official covers do it also (except for Pearl Islands) but why choose to have the winner in the top center? Fair enough it makes a lot of sense for we Survivor fans, but for many people for whom the DVDs would be the first time watching the shows, doesn't it kind of spoil the fun? I think the biggest/best character in the season, a la the Pearl Islands DVD, should get the central position and this would conceal the winner from those who don't know. But fair enough if you totally disagree. :) While I do perfer to have the winner be the top center (probably because i've seen them so it doesn't affect me) I very much agree for first time viewers it sucks. A few friends of mine started getting into Survivor starting with Gabon so i've been sitting them down to all the previous seasons. I had to make sure they didn't look at the DVD cases because they'd be spoiled if they did. Having said that, some of the menu screens on the DVDs also give away the winner/those who go far.
