In fact, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is paying very close attention. They've even started a state labor investigation! Officials are looking into whether TLC's show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is legally complying with all child labor laws. According to Justin Fleming, the Labor Department's spokesman, the organization is looking into the family after a complaint was issued against the show. Maybe the complaint came from Kate's envious $ister-in-law and brother? As for TLC, they claim the show "fully complies" with the state laws and regulations. I understand the landfill issue but if you have 8 small kids regardless if you have help. That is a lot of dishwashing. Granted I don't have a dishwasher
and thank god not 8 kids. Lol. Except four months of the year I burn all my paper type things I my woodburner. We generate little to the landfill.

I really hate Perez. Such a hypocrite. Anyone can issue a complaint - they won't get a fine. TLC said they only film 2 hours a day, and are there twice a
week. Which is a lie because J&K said they are there 4 days a week, and I read somewhere that 3 hours of footage, would only turn out to be 15 min. on the
show because of editing....

The kids are adorable and are really starting to exhibit their own personalities a lot more. The boys whacking the crap out of one another is HILARIOUS!! I just wish they weren't crying all the time. When one of your brood comes to you crying in the future, and you make that face like they are SO bothering you...I hope one of the crew punches you right in the face. Eric, well put. By the way, it is said that they are now making $75K an episode, so 40 episodes and that is $3 million per season. If they have overlapping seasons in a year, not a bad income. And knowing Kate, she is dialed in for the DVDs royalties, etc. And if they are executive producers now, they probably make even more than the $75K in front of the camera fee per episode.

I wonder what determines how much air time a Gosselin gets every episode. There are streaks of time when Leah is barely seen. This time around it was Hannah.

Man the more Lola bashes Jon the more sympathetic I become. I realize you are basing your opinion on like 5 shows when the problems had already manifested. But despite what you think of him he has more than stepped up. We do not know what the arrangment is today, but watch the shows where he is working and how frazzled was. Look at the way she was screaming at the kids and expected them to act like they are age 5 instead of 2.5. Jon was the one who dressed bathed and got the Twins out the door. The one morning chore Kate had was packing the twins lunch and she was always late, making the bus wait. The kids always went to him when they were upset. Once the girls were hysterical because the boys took off a doll's head. They took it to Jon and he patiently fixed it. Kate probably would have tossed it. Jon misses working and so do a lot Moms out there. It was a statement. I dont blame him when most of his social interaction was Kate and they are not getting along. and finally, Kate only latched onto the key tight after she had a fleet of papparazzi and she started be scrutinized for not being home.

They are a fascinating couple though, in a "so what else is new?" kinda way. I have known men like Jon all of my life...removing their wedding ring (caught in the pap photo) and cruising bars...they are usually "separated" and their wife doesn't understand or appreciate them, waiting to latch on to another "mommy" type that throws a few compliments at them occasionally. Whipped is just as much a part of the pussy character as is choosing someone strong to pull them through life, and sorry, blaming someone else for your life is pathetic. He chose Kate for a reason. Those men are rarely good in bed, well, maybe the first few times, but then they get even needier, nothing will ever fill those empty sleeping with only one woman twenties. They end up like the whipped needy puppies they are, until you just want someone else to take them off your hands because their pit is bottomless. I have no doubt that Kate is a bitchy, driven, take-charge woman. At least she didn't move out of the house and buy a sportscar, and if she is having an affair, she's smart enough to avoid providing the kids with plenty of google opportunities to see her sneaking out of someone's house at 7 in the morning while he's "at his moms." |

seeing him once a week (except for marathons) on an edited tv show, but despite what you think of him he's a fucking tool with his own set of issues. He
