She makes her two faces very well.She has a second expression? Man, and I thought Zooey Deschanel was dull. Maybe Beyonce will get a tv show and knock her out of the top 5. Or maybe she will get eaten by that cute chick from Firefly. |

I remember being excited to watch the DVD's of the weekly series since I had never seen any of the episodes before, and I was so confused over the 3rd
episode "Breakout". There's a scene in that episode where they introduce the character of Kyle Bates. Then, Kyle Bates' character is
introduced again in the following episode, with mostly the exact same dialogue from his introduction scene in the previous episode, and none of the
other characters remembering having met him. I was like WTF? I did a little research, and it turned out that the 3rd episode "Breakout" was deemed to
violent by NBC, so the network wouldn't air it. As a result, they had to re-do the introduction scene for Kyle and put it in the following episode. But
seeing the episodes on DVD and not knowing that's what happened, it can be rather confusing.

Thanks! I had forgotten about Strazynski's draft for the new "V" series that never developed. I wasn't a huge fan of the whole
"StarChild" storyline, but damn, she really did meet a gruesome end in that script.

Got married, co-founded "Celestial Seasonings" tea, and co-authored a cookbook about it. And regarding cameos from the original cast, Jane Badler said in an interview last year that she was invited to Los Angeles by the producers of the new show for "meetings", so I guess it's possible! |

I loved the mini series, but when I started watching the actual series on DVD, I started laughing. I never realized how cheesy it was! I love how their
voices stopped echoing, and also that they seemed obsessed with having people on ranches/stables. I made it through a few eps before we became bored with it.
Also, one of the discs from my Final Battle set is fucked up! On the bottom side, where they have the tiny copyright label around that small hole, they printed the label ON the dvd!!! It wont work! I'm gonna have to get it off of a torrent!! >: | |

ABC remake of 'V' shuts down; not expected to affect November start�date
An ABC�spokeswoman confirmed an online report that V - ABC's much-anticipated remake of the sci-fi miniseries�that stars Elizabeth Mitchell and Scott Wolf - has temporarily halted production for two weeks. The hiatus is not expected to affect the drama's Nov. 3 start date. The spokeswoman added that the�production shut down�"allows the writers to catch up to make sure they're putting out the best show possible." |

ABC just killed any chance this show had of succeeding.
ABC has confirmed that it has rejiggered the launch plan for the new fall drama, which is set to premiere Nov. 3. The network has decided to air just the first four installments of the Warner Bros. Television-produced series - and then place "V" on hiatus until after the Winter Olympics. |

Wouldn't it just save them money to burn all the footage they have and run infomercials instead?
The only way I could see this working is if they re-run the first four episodes constantly on ABC and ABC Family during February to catch some new viewers. But it is still a stupid idea...isn't this how they ran Lost into the ground a few seasons back, and then the realized their mistake and now run it straight-through January-to-May instead? After seeing them destroy The Unusuals and Life on Mars last season nothing will surprise me. |

Hmmm. Not to be a conspiracy theorist or anything, but...
When I saw the trailers, my first thought was "the Obama Administration is NOT going to like this". (OK, my first thought was "Yeah - V!") I wonder if ABC was pressured to make sure this didn't succeed. On the other hand, looking at how ABC has handled other promising shows, I'm not really surprised. |
