Wow that's just flabbergasting. Notice how Simon was sitting down when everyone was cheering.
I think that cheapens the whole AI experience. Nothing against Kris-but geez, he couldn't even sing on key for the closing song. |

Nice ending... although the annoucment always feels a little anti-climatic to me every year even with the horse and pony show they put on for the winning
song.

I think Kris will be decently successful. They'll put a lot of money into Adam but they don't want another Taylor Hicks as long as they can avoid it.
Maybe Kris can go country or something to guarantee success.

Kris will release a middle of the road, non-offensive, good values, hip kind of accoustic-y album and it will do okay. They'll groom him into the next
Farmbot.
Adam will go on to Daughtry like success with some glam band and will outsell Kris in album sales and concert venues. It's a win/win. No losers here...too bad that Adam couldn't come out on top, but he already got to sing with Slash, Queen, AND Kiss...that kid's got the world by the balls. He'll do fine. |

Yay for Kris. I love me an underdog. :) It really should be Allison though. It's kind of a blessing for Adam that he does not get stuck with this song.
