What I don't get is the fact that there were two other writers. Wouldn't one of the other writers stopped and said that the song sucks and we should
write something new?

I liked both of the original songs from that contest Arch and Cook sang last year. "Time of My Life" (really, they couldn't find another title?)
and "A Moment Like This" are not horrific. This one ranks up there with "Inside Your Heaven." Bring back "Alive" from Canadian
Idol, Season 3.

Sorry, I don't read spoilers or what not. I guess I thought we were talking about Performance Night songs, which are not always the same as the
Winner's Singles. After last night, I was they were doing the same thing they did last year. Oh well.

They have the money, so why won't these asswipes actually pay someone who's talented to write a song for the winner. Shell out the money to pay
someone like Paul McCartney or Prince or David Bowie to write something kick ass!
