I wanted the more part to be Kim being engulfed by flames and dying looking like a charcoal briquette.
Sadly, that was not to be. |

<333333 Renee, but sorry, #1 ginger in this show's history has to go to that crazy chick from a few years ago (season 5, I think?) who worked at CTU.
Can't recall her name, but I know we've talked about her in this thread. #2 ain't bad though, Renee. :P

This was a much better finale than last season with all the other Bauers turning out to be evil. Lowest point ever for 24 and I'm glad they're back on
the ascent.
I thought they tied up Tony's flipflops very well. It all makes sense now, which in the world of 24, is rare. I can't believe all of you fellow ginger lovers are so gaga about Renee and not one mention of evil Cara. Renee's easy on the eyes, but.... Still her charge on the bad guys mounted on the side of the SUV was nothing short of awesome. Agreeance with the sentiment above that Alan Wilson the chief bad guy got introduced way too late in the series for his downfall to have any effect. (BTW: on the "are you FBI"/"No I'm just a mother" quote, that did happen. Chloe was fitting the president of Sangoma for his tooth microphone, and he or maybe his wife asked that. Awesome Chloe quote!) |

Glad you cited that Chloe moment, piran. I couldn't remember.
In a series that gets a lot of mileage from killing off well-liked characters, I'm glad so many of them were still standing by the end. I was afraid Jack was going to have to kill Tony in the finale, but Tony lives on. Perhaps with one bad hand, and a greater sneer, but otherwise intact. |

Pretty cool they even remembered her, and nice to kinda keep continuity there for the fans. I totally recognized her when she first popped up. I hope next season revolves around another biological attack so she can come back and be glum and hot again <3 |

I LOVE that they brought back Sunny from S3. It was a nice subtle nod for hardcore fans.

Renee's form of torture would be to unbutton her shirt and then not go any farther until he talks. Damn!I nearly missed the end because as soon as she removed her vest that's what I thought and I was not able to focus back to the show. |

frisbeehead wrote:I went to the lecture last night, I talked with him after he spoke, and here is my report: They don't map out entire seasons and then write them, they write the show about two episodes in advance of when they film them. They're making it up as they go along. I asked how they had Tony Almeida's denouement make logistical sense, and cited the scene at mid-show in the National Mall where Tony said he was going to disappear for a while, and Howard Gordon said that they shot that scene later (there is a considerable lag inbetween shooting and airing). They didn't even come up with the idea of President Taylor having a daughter until shortly before Olivia's scenes started shooting. The torture scenes are written entirely out of Howard Gordon's imagination and zero research is done. He loves all the seasons like they are his children but season six is the "slow child". They are shooting scenes at the UN for season eight. President Taylor will be there for a conference, the purpose of the conference being to make the world a place where Jack Bauers don't have to exist. They will reference an imaginary country in the middle east. Howard Gordon's wife is a global warming activist, but the carbon neutral production for last season was Rupert Murdoch's idea. There was no pressure from FOX on it. |

Finally watched hour 23 and 24. Olivia and 1st Daddy are going to be bad guys next season. Don't really want to wait until January. We need more Cloe
next season as well.
