First, let me state that I absolutely love all the seasons.
1. Borneo: Classic/Never saw anything like it/Rich, my favorite. 2. Australian Outback: I was a Kucha fan, but I did like Tina and Colby. Mike was actually my favorite. Fire/injury/starvation/the good old days 3. Pearl Islands: Certainly the most entertaining season with Poopert, Jon, and Sandra, whom i love. 4. Palau: Just something about it that I enjoyed. I was a Tom and Ian fan. It was fresh for its age. 5. Tocantins: There was something about this season also that i just loved. I loved JT, Stephen, and especially Coach. A lot of memorable characters this season. 16 people, final 2. How it should be. 6. China: Good casting. I like having 16 people. You get to know people better. Good strategy, very fun. Jean-Robert, Dave, and Courtney were pure entertainment. 7. Africa: I was so into Survivor during this time that I have a soft spot for this season. I liked Ethan/Lex/Big Tom and i thought the location was fascinating. 8. Amazon: Very fun/quirky bunch of survivors. I hated Jenna during the show but i love her now. Rob C= incredible. Matthew=crazy. Made for fun TV 9. Micronesia: A lot of blindsides made it interesting and seeing some new and old people was fun. Didn't like the result though and didnt like the removed due to injury/quitting going on. Erik=dumbass 10. Marquesas: Fun season with a nice power shift but a boring and controversial ending. Vecepia played a good game, but the editors made her almost non-existent. 11. Exile Island: Wacky season with some crazy people. Loved Cirie, Shane was funny, and i liked Terry in a weird sort of way. Terry's immunity run was fun to watch. 12. Gabon: Some pretty good characters. I wanted to punch Kenny who thought he was God. Crystal/Sugar/Randy all interesting people. I loved Bob winning. All these strategists, and the least strategic ends up winning. 13. Cook Islands: Too many twists if anything. The Cast was so-so. Good winner, good runner up. The challenges werent very original. 14. Vanuatu: Every episode was hit or miss. Overall, it was decent until the final 7, then it was interesting to see Chris pull of the underdog victory, even though he got kind of lucky. 15. Fiji: The cast wasnt too exciting. I liked Earl and Yau man. Dreamz was annoying and so was Rocky, although he was entertaining. Good result and merge, bad pre merge. Haves vs. Have nots twist was terrible. 16. Thailand: I love this season for one reason only: Brian. He really knew how to play the game and was soo sleazy that it made for some entertaining viewing. Worst Cast by far though. All boring southern people it seemed who talked slow. 17. Guatemala: Not awful but i hated Judd/Steph/and Rafe. I wanted to kill them. It was very satisfying seeing Danni win though. 18. ASS: Too many egos and stupid people. Lex not voting off Amber ruined this season. I also didnt like Amber. Jenna L making it to 3rd? FAIL. I hated that she targetted winners in the beginning. Bitch.

Grandslam Seasons 1. Survivor Borneo - (My new Number One! =O) 2. Survivor The Australian Outback - (Still basically tied with above) Tier I 3. Survivor Micronesia (Purely for Entertainment) 4. Survivor Amazon (Nice balance between characters and gameplay) 5. Survivor Africa (Vastly underrated) Tier II 6. Survivor Vanuatu (Enjoyed but still underrated) 7. Survivor Palau ( Dont really love it now but did back in 2005) 8. Survivor Tocantins (I admit I enjoyed it) 9. Survivor Thailand ( I dont know why! lol) 10. Survivor Marquesas (I used to love it and I think its Surviors most perfect season in terms of character development and gameplay but still, ive never orgasmed over the cast.) Tier III 11. Survivor Cook Islands - (I enjoyed it alot back in 2006 since I went on a Survivor hiatus during seasons 11 and 12, but sucks attitude has since turned me off for The Cooks.) 12. Survivor Gabon - (Will probably go a little bit higher after a rewatch since I really enjoyed the cast, but I was never crazy about it but still, I did like it) 13. Survivor China - (Same exact explanation as Gabon) Tier IV 14. Survivor Panama - (Most forgettable season to me. I remember next to nothing about it. I need a rewatch.) 15. Survivor Pearl Islands - (Most unlikeable cast ever after Guatemala. Not fun to watch. I can get my blindsides someplace else. So fucking overrated x 100) Tier V 16. Survivor All Stars - (Too uncomfortable to watch. Just too dirty for my likes. But at least Amber won. <3) 17. Survivor - Guatemala - (It had few nice moments but I was just never into it. Despised the cast.) Tier 234567897654 18. Survivor Fiji - (The only thing worse than this season are the Goddamned fucking ghosties who try to put it off as the best. Seriously get a life.)

1. Borneo: I can't even compare this to the other seasons--it's just so different because it's the
original. So it gets the first spot by default.
2. Marquesas: I really connected with the cast and enjoyed the often humorous tone to the season. The excitement was consistent from start to finish, and almost all the castaways were memorable. Kathy's transformation provided great human drama. 3. Africa: Africa will always hold a special place in my heart because it's the second Survivor I ever watched and the first I really got into. The location, the deprivation, plus the fact that it was the third Survivor lent this season an epic feeling. 4. Gabon: Kind of a clusterfuck, but I loved the bitter infighting and the eclectic cast. The hatred between the preppy, highly educated Onions and the more blue-collar types like Sugar/Susie/etc. was fascinating to see. One of the reasons I love Survivor is seeing wildly different types of people be forced to interact--and we got that here in spades. Too bad the ending sucked. Plus the season felt rather rigged. 5. China: I'm not sure why I like this season so much--I can't pinpoint what's great about it--but it just worked for me. Courtney cracked me up and I rooted for Amanda. 6. Palau: This season was a lot of fun to watch--likable cast, gorgeous location, exciting challenges, and a good storyline. The Ulong decimation was new and unusual. One of the most watchable seasons, IMHO. 7. Amazon: A very solid season that brought us several memorable characters and some interesting social dynamics. The men vs. women twist was well executed. 8. Exile Island: The totally dysfunctional Casaya tribe was fantastic entertainment. I also enjoyed the rivalry between Aras and Terry. 9. Pearl Islands: This has all the makings of a top season, but for some reason it didn't quite resonate with me. I hated the Outback twist and didn't enjoy Rupert at all. Still, lots of great things about this season, including an unpredictable storyline and very strategic gameplay. 10. Micronesia: A very enjoyable and exciting season, but for me the ASS seasons just lack a certain charm. The post-merge also had too many mactory LA types that I liked but didn't find especially interesting. Great from a gameplay standpoint but lacking in memorable human drama. 11. Guatemala: This was a good season; I liked the darker theme and thought Stephenie's fall from grace made great television. However, I didn't care for Danni and her win left a bad taste in my mouth. 12. Australian Outback: Great pre-merge, but turned into a snooze-fest afterwards. 13. Cook Islands: This season felt extremely rigged to me. Otherwise, it'd rank higher. 14. Tocantins: The early episodes hooked me, but then it started to feel a little stale. Funny--on paper, it's a great season, with the underdog tribe decimating the dominant tribe and an extremely worthy winner taking home the prize. You also had good characters in Coach, Tyson, J.T., Stephen, etc. But it just played out a little dully on TV. I think the editing was weak. 15. Thailand: The cast is just so unlikable. There was no one for me to cheer on, plus we had to endure a boring Pagonging. 16. All-Stars: Yuck. Too many egos and too much bitterness. 17. Fiji: Awful. Didn't watch Vanuatu. |

I just ranked them, but I want to rank them again, because it's always changing for me and can often times be drastically different from my previous
ranking.

Great
- Micronesia (cast and unbeilevable blindsides, Cirie was great) - Pearl Islands (rupert versus fairplay) - Tocantins (pure season, no twists, great cast, Tyson... and the genious: COACH haha) - Palau (the best final episode yet with the 12 hours immunity challenge and Ian's dilemma) - All stars (boston rob versus lex, lots of animosity, good tv) Very Good - Thailand (I loved Brian's great stategic play and it was a great location, the fake merge) (i know almost everyone hated it) - Marquesas ( the rotu takedown, great cast, veceppia not a great winner though) - Cook Islands (great cast: penner, ozzie, yul, the muntiny, great ending) - Figi (i liked it, i know, i'm stange: loved Earl and Yau man's duo, Dreamz decision, i liked it) Good - Gabon (good cast but very bad strategic players, Randy saved that season, Bob was a nice guy) - Africa (first season i watched so i'm attached to it) - Australia (good season but overrated, great ending but the middle of the season was too predictable) - Panama (loved Cirie and Shawn, a couple of bad episodes but still a decent season, aras vs terry was a good rivalry) Ok - China (Todd had the best final tribal performance to date, but a so-so season, todd was the only good player it seems, i hate the final tribal with 3 players in the final, horrible twist) - Borneo (i saw it after because i missed it, Richard was brillant but the others are horrible stratigecally, but since it's the first season, it's normal i guess, but the fact that i watched later clouds my judgement so i still applaude the fact that this season started it all) - Amazon (bad location, hate the man vs women twist, i loved mathieu's weird casting and play but hated so much the ending that it ruined it a little for me.... matthew got robbed! Usually i love players like Rob C. but it's probably the only vilain i didn't like for some reason) - Guatemala ( was Glad Bobby Jon was back.... but for the rest, that season wasn't memorable) worst by far VANUATU... the worst by far is still enjoyable, because... IT'S SURVIVOR  ....

Great(in no particular order):
Australia: My first season that got me hook on Survivor. Palau: Big fan of Ulong tribe especially Steph, Bobby Jon & Angie. Tocantins: Back to basic with 16 castaway and 2 final. Great cast and a deserving winner Gabon: Sugar fan and oddly enough a Randy fan also and Corrine was my pre-show pick as favorite but she turned out to be a B...h. All-Star: Fun season with big characters however it did turn ugly with Sue and Hatch and Boston Rob vs Lex. Still good TV. Cook Island: Liked racial twist and loved how the underdogs Aitu(spelling) crushed the other tribe. . Good(in no particular order): Fans vs Fav: Crazy season with a lot of blindside but i think fav had a unfair advantage. Marquesas: Can somebody piss on my hand lol. China: I just like it. Africa: Ethan my favorite won and i liked the location. Amazon: Boys vs girls twist was fun and it worked in this season but not in Vanuatu. Thailand: Brian H. is the Best winner ever. OK: Pearl Island: Good cast but the ghost twist was a bad idea Guatemala: Didn't like the location and felt the tribal swap in 3 episode was too early. Bad: Vanuatu. I almost quiet watching Survivor. It was that bad. Fiji: Luxury twist and fake merge twist was just awful. Panama. I just didn't like any of the cast with exception of Sally and Misty. p.s. I have only seen couple of Borneo episodes but i like Colleen and Kelly. |

1- Survivor: Micronesia (Can't deny that every episode was entertaining. I loved the blindsides.)
2- Survivor: Amazon (By far my favorite season. I loved Christy, Deena, and Rob C. The best cast of all time.) 3- Survivor: Palau (For some reason, it's rewatchable... odd, but fun. Great challenges.) 4- Survivor: Borneo (Great personalities. Wish Gervase and Colleen were on All-Stars) 5- Survivor: Australian Outback (It was very raw and entertaining. The Finale was a little boring, though ) 6- Survivor: Pearl Islands (I love Rupert. I don't care, he was awesome. Sandra is my all-time favorite ;) 7- Survivor: Marquesas (Very likable/memorable cast minus Zoe. The purple rock was a mistake) 8- Survivor: China (It was refreshing.) 9- Survivor: Vanuatu (I don't think it's that bad. The cast wasn't attractive, but at least there was plenty of drama in every episode, which is why I watch. Also rewatchable). 10- Survivor: Panama (I hated this season the first time around, especially Terry. It gets better with age, I guess.) 11- Survivor: Africa (Just finished rewatching the season and I really enjoy it.) 12- Survivor: Guatemala (Too much Stephanie. It didn't have many strategic players. Rafe was the only good player to come out of it. And Amy.) 13- Survivor: Cook Islands (Such a boring season. The only saving grace was the mutiny and Penner. Great winner.) 14- Survivor: Tocantins (It wasn't very exciting. Not a lot of drama. The finale was a little surprising. A good FTC. Very predictable.) 15- Survivor: Gabon (Such a mess of a season. Terrible pre-merge, lousy merge. A likable winner, but definitely not deserving. The jury sucked.) 16- Survivor: All-Stars (It's hard to watch over. Crappy challenges and dumb moves.) 17- Survivor: Fiji (The pre-merge is unbearable. Worst twist ever. Dreamz and Yau-Man were great characters) 18- Survivor: Thailand (Terrible cast. I didn't like anyone on this season... except for Shii Ann.) |
