This guy and his 19 yr-old son paddled in a 21 foot canoe all the way from Winnipeg to the mouth of the Amazon. Freaking nutbar - they almost died so many times, it's crazy. Anyhow, an amazing true story, it's all his diaries from the trip... The guy also took a kayak through the Northwest Passage a few years later and there's a book for that too - Paddle to the Arctic. |

That was a good one though with all her books it seems like it's packed full of extraneous crap. They say the newest one is the worst for that.

All my books got recalled by the library (even though I was in the middle of them) so now I started Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris.

Book 3 of the Dresden Files...After reading book 5 in the Bones series. For some reason, the serialized stuff just appeals to me right now.
I have "Fool" by Christopher Moore on deck as well as the "Number One Woman's Detective Agency." Can't wait to just spend some time on the beach, getting a tan, and reading some. |
