Me too! My fave censored card was the one when they revealed Alison Janney's character had stuck a toothbrush up Alan's butt in a bondage situation and
he had pleaded for Charlie to remove it. Lorre sometimes gets emotional, personal, and even existenstial with these things. My bet is that a large idea or
story is the key to No. 236.

Isn't Showtime part of the SeeBS family? Maybe that's what it was?

"with a lollypop stuck to your butt"
I couldn't stop laughing after that one. My son had no clue even with the Kojak reference. |

That's good news, but the longer it goes on the more inappropriate the title is. Jake is a BIG boy now.

Funny you should ask that. Here's the vanity card from the Feb. 9 eppie:
CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #241 Excellent news on the renewal. This show keeps clipping along, staying funny, and blithely ignoring the scorn heaped on it by the mainstream critics. Big Bang, HIMYM, & My Name is Earl have individual classic eps that beat 2.5 at its best, but for consistent terrific laffos, nothing beats this show. Loved the drunk hosebag last night and the issues involved in getting her down the stairs. Not to mention her lingerie. Those with interest should not hesitate to google her. BTW: current Charlie girlfriend is played the same actress who played a previous girlfriend, but as a different character. I thought she looked familiar. |

Glad to hear of the renewal that vanity card is freakin' funny!

BTW: current Charlie girlfriend is played the same actress who played a previous girlfriend, but as a different character. I thought she looked familiar. I guess it was inevitable. Charlie has had sex with every woman on the planet, so now he's going back to the beginning and starting all over again. |

Where did Allen get that dummy last night? Was it a gift?

Have no idea about the dummy. Loved how they implied that it was evil at the end. Remember those movies with the evil dummies? Magic, for one, I think.

No the dummy appeared out of nowhere as far as I can tell.
I missed the ep where Chelsea confronted their mother, though. Lurved how Charlie now considers his own perfectly het brother to be his fiance's gay friend. Anyone see the previous ep? Charlie's new mancave = Chelsea's old apartment? Loved it. W.thither Rose? |

A three season, count them one, two, THREE! renewal last March 2009.
Suffer, lesser comedies fanboys. Yes. Suffer. But have faith that we are not According To Jim and whatnot. Favo moment of the season six finale # 1? Berta: I ain't cleaning that up. Moment 2? It would've been perfect if Judith hadn't been there. Question: who is this Mia? There must be someone out there who knows this show better than me. Silent lurkers? This is your moment to strike. Otherwise, when seasons 7, 8, and 9 appear, I will mock you at some point in the next three years. AIN'T THIS AWESOME? AND NOBODY KNOWS HOW GOOD IT IS! |

I'm a huge 2.5 Men fan.....happy for the 3 year renewal!! By the time it's cancelled Jake should be at Clown College. LOVED seeing Mia come back - ooooo-lala!! |

And now she's back. I'd pay to see Mia and Chelsea go at it in some sort of jello cage match. |

My bet is that Charlie would pick up the tab....
What season was that? I came to 2.5 late, but would like to Netflix it over the summer. I must say though -- one of the great things about this show is that Lorre doesn't do throwback references, which is kind of refereshing in the day & age of My Name is Earl, How I Met Your Mother, and Lorre's own Big Bang Theory. I'm kind of annoyed that he'd toss in such a critical throwback all of a sudden. Not to mention in a season-ending TBC. |

Mia originally comes on the scene in season 3, episode 8.
Definitely one of my favorite stretches of episodes. More so because of Kandi that pretty well came along with Mia, but still. "Medallions of bean curd with lawnmower sauce" cracks me up every single time. |

Piranhahaha wrote: Huh? If any show on Television doesn't do throwback, it BBT. One week (or a few) Leonard has a girlfriend. The next week she disappears forever with no explanation. One Ep has a new chick moving into the apartment building, then never to be heard from again. That is the beauty of BBT. Every Ep pretty much starts anew with the basic cast. OK, I'll give you that Monday night is Pizza night and Thursday night is Thai food (or whatever.) And Leonard wants to nail Penny. But that's just simple continuity, not mythology or throwback. I do love Two and a Half Men. It works because it is fucking funny. What a concept. Odd brother and son move in with very different brother and hilarity ensues. Anybody else but Lorre could have easily fucked that up in 13 to 22 episodes. This show has been on the air forever. And not "utility player" episodes like "According to Jim" or "Medium" for the network. High ratings. The simple premise and lack of mythology allows anyone to watch any Ep of TAAHM and get it immediately. Lorre is a fucking genious. If you write it well (and have a great cast), they will watch. This show cracks me up every week. Yay for the renewal! |

Fine. Points taken, but I think Lorre's venturing into Buffyverse territory with this Mia showing up so critically.
Spinal Tap once posited that there's a thin line between stupid and clever; Lorre's now messing with the thin line between continuity and mythology. BBT: Knock knock, Penny? Mythology, continuity, a running gag, or Lorre genius? I can't wait to Netflix the bejesus out of season three. |
