I loved all the Star Trek references considering Leonard Nimoy is playing William Bell. Too funny.

I really hope Nina isn't dead as I was looking forward to seeing how she gets her side of the bargain that she made with Peter earlier.

I would have wanted to cross over to that other dimension!

So what Im gathering is that Peter died and Walter opened up a hole and snatched a new Peter from the other side. That is all kinds of fucked up.
This happening when he was a child. |

Yep....all kinds of fucked up, but WHAT A GREAT DAMN SHOW! I had the jaw-dropping moment when Walter was standing in front of the headstone, fingering the
coin and I thought "OMG......" a split second before they showed the name on the grave, but then to see that final image....wow. Can't wait for
fall.

I haven't followed the whole season closely (i'll do that this summer), but can someone explain the other side? How many dimensions are there? Two? The
road taken and the one not taken?

^^ me too. i've only watched 3 or 4 episodes this season and i have to say that finale was mindblowing. shades of the twilight zone.
if alternate peter bishop's dead then what about alternate walter bishop? what if walter bishop is the alternate walter bishop? and olivia's dead boyfriend agent could be alive in the other world? and i wonder how the personalities would differ. |

How many was not explained, but it is theorized there could be more multiple realities. Too much for my pretty little head though. To think someone else
exists as me in a parallel universe? Utter blasphemy! There can only be one me! I'd be like that Jet Li movie where he goes killing all his alternative
reality selves!

Now "that" was a cliffhanger"! Gives us all summer to wonder..."what just happened"?
The Tombstone and the twin towers was totally unexpected and jaw dropping. |

Thats what I was thinking. He stole a child from the opposite Walter. They haven't really explained how many realities there are. I think they are going
with the two theory right now. But I have a feeling the Observer is from a completely different one.

So... Did Olivia enter the alternative timeline in the elevator? Or has she been slipping through time lines all along? I thought something like that was going
on after she had Walter put her in the hyperbaric chamber, but I'm not sure...
Oh, and when the bald guy first showed up, didn't he say something to Walter about Peter being sick? I forget wtf was said, anyone recall? This show needs a fucking a fringepedia. |

Olivia definitely entered the new reality through the elevator.

Did you notice the newspaper said "Obama moves into NEW Whitehouse"?
Id say in this dimension it was The White House that was destroyed in a terrorist act and not the towers. |

It would have been a real mind fuck if Olivia had been living in the alternate reality all along, the one with the towers still standing
