In your opinion.In Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst's opinions. Probst has summarized the game many times, and he's always said the best (and most difficult) part of it is that people have to vote others out in a way that says "I've eliminated you from the game, now give me the million dollars." Take that away, and it takes away almost all of the strategic and social gameplay that has made this game popular. |

Start out the game with some form of difficult endurance challenge, before they arrive to camp. Do not give them buffs. Tell the Survivors that this is how
tribes will be sorted. Each person that drops from the challenge will take alternating buffs, making the tribes relatively equal in strength. The incentive to
win is personal immunity for the final 2 standing. It would be interesting to see people possibly throwing the challenge to get with the tribe they preferred,
or potential deal-making. It would at least be a random way to do things without that damn schoolyard pickem.

I know a lot of people think a season of Survivor Winners is coming, possibly in 2010 (when Richard Hatch is out of prison). THings I would do to open this up
would be.... First off, I doubt EVERY winner is up to do this again. There are going to be many that won't do it. To help offset this.....I would put out
two teams of Survivor Winners, and possibly throw in a team of Celebrities. Ray Romano has been very open how much he wants to be on SURVIVOR and I know a team
of Celebrities could be found. This would largely offset any advantage winners have as the fact is, Ray Romano was making more in one episode of EVERYBODY
LOVES RAYMOND then every Survivor Winner has combined.

Hopefully the producers are reading.
Maybe a new twist: the exile assignment. The person has to complete a certain task before the next tribal council, from simple things like getting a tribe-member to eat a worm, to having to catch one fish, to losing the tribes flint for 3 days, to even having to target a specific person at the next tribal council (with successful results). I guess its kind of like America's player except not stupid. If they don't complete their assignment, they have to vote for themselves. And they can't tell anyone about the twist. |

I'd like them to do a reverse of Amazon/Vanuatu. Start out with normal mixed tribes and halfway through the pre-merge divide by gender.

I kind of wish Survivor was more spur of the moment. Like what you wrote Olmec....like if after 4 eps Jeff notices theres 6 guys and 6 girls he says
"You know what will be interest...ur gunna be guys vs girls now"

The main problem I see with the m/f split partway through is that it could put one tribe down three members off the bat, which would be kind of unfair. Other than that, it could be interesting. I'd really like to see them get rid of the HII for a few seasons, but maybe still have EI. Just because I think it would be funny to see people sending their allies there for nothing. |

I'm pretty sure this has been suggested but, if they do gender division again, have a tribe of 6 guys, a tribe of 6 girls, and a tribe of 3 guys and 3
girls, and just play those up until the merge. Really, I just would love to see 3 tribes until the merge or an early merge, or hell, both.

Have both tribes live at the same beach. I know this has been said before, but it makes a lot of sense! A huge reason for the tribal swap and even this year
for one person from each tribe going to Exile is so that people will not vote down tribal lines after the merge. Exciting in Season 1...boring by now! Having
both tribes living at one camp would make the game very interesting! There would be a LOT more game play at the start of the game, which would effect the
entire season.
I'd also love to see them get divided into tribes randomly every three days. Again, this would totally shift the way the game is played and make it very hard for people to build strong bonds with just one or two people, etc...which would really bring out a few strong players. This would probably be more hassle than they are willing to deal with, but it could be very interesting! And as many people ahve mentioned...cast people who actually apply! |

It's A simple twist... Have The immunity Idol as a hidden item in the survivor auction. not just an advantage at the next immunity challenge (danni @ guatamala) Or a tie breaker where the players voted off votes, its kinda like the finale only it comes earlier, with people being accountable for things they do pre merge (others may hate this idea) after reading the posts... Some Ive liked, Some sorta sucked... Im in favor of bring back some past twists... The Outcasts, I hated at the time... but has since become one of my favorite parts of the game... now, if Lil or burton had have won the game, that would have sucked. I also LOVED all stars. It was a big way to get the casual fans back. i didnt so much like it as fans vs favs... and i didnt like how Rob C. didnt have a chance... Im not in favor of having survivor take a few years off, some think it would give it new life.... The mile did that and no one cared, and now im a celebrity get me out of here is doing it and i think no one will care. Also celebrities is something i wouldnt want to see... most other shows that did a celebrity version, were totally dumbed down (weakest link, jeopardy, the mole, Who wants to be a millionaire) Thoes are just my thoughts |

Have a challenge where the winner gets to choose between reward or immunity. Add to that the winner gives what he doesn't choose to the second place
finisher.
