Thank God I watch this alone. I don't know if I will be able to handle two hours next Thursday. Thank God I didn't watch survivor and this right after. Family visits always get me upset and then this would have put me over the edge of a sobbing idiot!

I watched Survivor and was trying not to blubber like a baby, and then I watched Grey's, and finally had to let loose with the %+!. My 14-year-old mocked me the whole time. Then on Good Morning America yesterday, Emeril's "breakfast in bed for Mother's Day mom" segment had me sobbing.

Online) - Grey's Anatomy: Izzie's illness is even freaking out Grey's Anatomy boss Shonda Rhimes, who blogged about the 100th episode: "I went up to the editing room when the show was being edited, and I saw my first images of Izzie lying in the hospital bed bald. And I started to cry. And I said to Susan Vaill, our brilliant editor, I said, 'Ummm...I think Izzie is really sick.' And she hollered at me 'You made her sick!'...But here's the thing. Until I saw my Izzie, bald and pale and wheezing in that bed...I mean, she's sick. She's really sick. And I didn't see it coming. My brain got ahead of my heart on this one." In happier, potentially less-fatal news, Shonda also tweeted that there is "some good Cristina/Owen coming up too." Yay! At least there will be something good in the finale!! At this point, I really counld not possibly care less if Izzy dies, but Alex will probably make me cry.

Posts: 9340 (05/09/09 2:16 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	It's times like these I wish I didn't know anything about the real people that play the characters because knowing what a *%+@ Katherine Heigl really is makes it hard for me to have much sympathy about her character. Now I get why my friend texted me that she was not happy watching the episode, since she was graduating in a week (but it's from grad school, not college, so it's all good). I felt more towards those characters than Izzie. I wasn't surprised either about the wedding switch. I liked Alex giving the graduation speech. Nice little touch there.

I really want to like Izzie again and feel for her but Katharine Heigl being such a !%+! really puts a damper on it. This week I watching the episode with my mom and she was crying at the Izzie stuff and the wedding and all that and I wasn't. I'm quite sure it's because she's not affected by knowing what an asswipe Katharine has been. I usually cry at everything so something like a character dying of cancer would usually make me cry. If she dies next week though I'm sure despite knowing Katharine that asshole wanted out and forced a storyline like this I'll probably be a big ole ball of +%+$@ for Izzie, Alex and friends.

I think the problems she was having were very real, but maybe not for what's been happening so far.
