Fondling women is way more acceptable to ABC than drunk driving. Well, to be fair, I don't think there are a whole lot of fondling deaths. |

While I'm not saying that he's not capable of doing these things, I do have to wonder if this is one of those cases of a "spurned"
lover...or prospective spurned lover.

I'm personally disturbed not only by the description of his behavior, but that the response here seems to be largely in favor of him. Keep in mind, guys--you don't know the actor. You only know the character. Don't act like he's a great guy who you'd love to have go down on you when you haven't even met him. It mentions in the legal document that there were (allegedly) other reported incidents of uninvited sexual harassment. Probably some of those women chose to keep their mouths shut just so they could keep their jobs. If Miss Bronski hadn't said something, who knows how long this kind of thing could have gone on for? |

At first I thought "who cares? I don't know him, don't know her. I just watch Lost." And yeah I laughed at Not Penny's Motorboat.
But I'm gonna have to agree with catspasms. Dat's all I have to say. |

You wonder why she would wait 2 years before filing a lawsuit...? Not to get all awkward-confusing-explanation-y over here (and just in time for Daniel's episode!), but the sexual harassment system in California, as far as I know, is flipping ridiculous. Basically, once you file a claim, there has to be a year long investigation. The whole time you're paying your lawyer, too, so it's not financially easy. ABC fired her 12 days after the incident, according to the report, so she didn't have a job at the time, so I can forgive her for putting it off seven months or however long she must have. That said, I doubt a company like ABC would fire an employee over sexual harassment without making sure that the person was lying. Also, from someone who works in family law, let me add that very attractive people sometimes sexually harass, molest, or rape people. ABC's actions make me extremely doubtful that Cusack actually touched her, but I think it's offensive to act like someone would or should accept unwanted advances just because the person is good looking. ETA: LOL I referred to it as "the incident". Oh Lost.

LOL Thank you, yes. That is what I meant. My friend and I were just watching Say Anything... earlier, so I was in the Cusack state of mind, I guess.
I'll let it be for posterity.
