Odds are they made it to the Temple with the Others and they get to stay in 2008

I too think they're with the Others, just not the 2008 Others. I think after Sawyer had his chat with eyeliner guy, eyeliner guy found some friends of
Sawyer out on the island and thought maybe it would be a good idea to have them hang with him.

I fucking miss Rose & Bernard.
They better have their own recap episode. |

Rose and Bernard's absence is the result of lazy writing. Oh, sure, if/when they ever appear, there will be an explanation for where they've been, but MEH! Fuck the writers. |

That and the fact they aren't full time cast members, and the woman who plays Rose does stage work a lot when she's not on the show. They were never
meant to be regular castmembers.

I love Rose and Bernard and I wish they were more incorporated into the story. In particular, this show needs some sassy black sugar like Rose.

Maybe we'll get their story this week.

Yeah, Rose/Bernard being absorbed into the others (along with Vincent?) would seem to be the simplest explanation for their absense.

Ah yes, Vincent... I wonder if he time-jumped as well or if he remained in 2004?

My guess is that when everybody was being ferried to the freighter, they went back to the caves. They said they didn't think the freighter guys were
there to save them, but Rose did not want to go with Locke either.

And later Bernard was trying to start a fire on the beach when Frogurt got hit by the flaming arrow, and he and Rose ran off into the woods with the others when Sawyer told everyone to split up and meet at the creek. |

Dude, I'm pretty sure that not showing up for multiple episodes this season = mega-interesting. Honestly, it means there will be focus on you for the last
season. Check out Claire or Desmond. I'm pretty sure it isn't just sloppy writing that is keeping Rose and Bernard away.
I hope that they are hanging out in Otherville, so that when Sayid and possibly other random people defect (after all, live with the Circle of Trust Dharma Guys or people who know what time traveling is?) they'll have been chilling happily for three years. |

I wonder if we'll see Rose and Bernard again or if their story is complete...
Also, what happened to the other people that were with them? Did the Others murder everyone else at the creek? |

Nods wrote: Okay, I'll say it the Rose and Bernard scene was the high point of the episode I loved that scene and I loved those characters. I know some people find them "lame" because they aren't filled with angst but I would watch a season with just those two living on the island. |
