2 Major foreshadowing confessionals pointed to a JAL 3 win over the Tims 6 at merge:
1) JT's where he stated how as soon as the merge happened the Tims were all over the Jals to form up and get rid of thier own tribemates. Something like "here we are outnumbered but that doesn't even matter they all hate each other more. The Tim tribe is self imploding" (had coach,Tyson and Erinn going directly to him...then Brendon...Sierra via Stephen Taj) 2)Tajs' "I was like ok do whatever you feel is necessary we will just be over here" or something can't find it... but it was stating clearly that the 3 Jals are sticking together and will let whatever Tims have the numbers take out thier fellow tribemates. (Coach Tyson Debbie vs Brendon Sierra...) LOL that Erinn the outsider with no alliance will probably be the last Tim standing. |

I think either Debbie or Erinn goes next week.
Debbie had a sudden spike in airtime that was a sap story, when she's had no prior airtime. I'd put my money on her. But another thing stood out: Stephen when he said to Taj, "can we trust Erinn?". Perhaps they don't trust her and boot her. |

But another thing stood out: Stephen when he said to Taj, "can we trust Erinn?". Perhaps they don't trust her and boot her.Based on the clues, Jollypal vs Timbira is over before it really began. Coach and Debbie turn on each other, and Debbie goes. I think the trust comments about Erinn are a set-up for the Jollypal endgame. When it's down to Jolly 3 plus Erinn and Sierra, things will get interesting. Likely JT gets blindsided and one of Erinn\Sierra make it to the end with Stephen. Since Erinn and Sierra are rivals, maybe they allign with different guys in the end? Or maybe Errinn becames thr swing between JT\Stephen and Taj\Sierra at F5?

OR....
Taj realizes she can't win against either Stephen or JT (and the two of them are a pair leaving her out) so she makes a deal with Erinn for F2. Anywhoo... I agree that Debbie is probably gone this next week. We saw her having fun on the reward. We saw her offering empathy toward Sierra. We saw her win the II necklace. I can see Stephen placating Coach with the "YOU are still in this with JT and I...Tyson was too much of an II threat etc...." |

And I can see JT telling Coach that he shook with him [Coach] but not Tyson.... or not.

What Timbira is doing to itself is far worse than what the women did to each other in Vanuatu when Chris was the only male. It's just unbelievable how they
are sitting back and letting 3 Jalapenos take the game so easily.

It won't really matter what JT and Stephen say because Coach will have to come up with some blather about how warriors and wizards hear voices different from Dragon Slayers and although he is shocked, mortified, disgusted, in the end, he will "see the wisdom in their decision" and forgive the errant twosome. What else can he do? He has to "buy" whatever crap Stephen and JT feed him OR he will be next and he knows it. OH the beauty of it all... Now we get to see Coach, the Dragon Slayer turn into the Hyperbolic Hypocrite. |

I don't really see anyone taking out JT on the final four challenge. It looks like a monster physical challenge. Not saying it won't happen just thinking it is a long shot. |

See, I think next week Sierra or Erinn goes... if Erinn is waffling back and forth between the Jalapao three and then going back to Coach, she won't be
trusted enough to make it to the end. SIERRA: At this point, nobody really likes her, but Coach and Debbie need her, or at least can buy some time for
themselves by throwing her (and possibly Erinn) under the bus. She has power through no fault of her own, and I think she needs to point out just what an
attractive F2 opponent she would be to someone like, say, Erinn or Taj. I did enjoy her facial expressions at Tribal Council... clearly, she had no clue there
was even a chance that she could survive the TC. TAJ: She's just kind of in the background of all of JT and Stephen's machinations at this point. Not
the winner, probably 3rd place. ERINN: She's got game and made a clever move, but I think ultimately nobody's going to trust her all that much... a
free agent, and realistically the only person she could beat in a final would be Sierra. DEBBIE: She speaks! We actually know something about her! She seems
nice enough. I don't want a lesser of two evils win against Coach, though. COACH: I think he assumes that, despite his inability to win challenges, he will
somehow dominate physically and make it to the final, where, since he will be universally loved, he will defeat some other warrior in battle. I wonder what
color the sky is on his planet? JT: I wonder if him shaking on the deal with Coach is going to come back and bite him should he make the final? Does he end up
losing because of that? It seemed significant that they were showing both that and how much faith Coach had in him, significant beyond developing the
season's "Coach is always wrong" running gag. STEPHEN: In a bizarre, twisted way, Stephen is almost the Tina to JT's Colby, minus the Oedipal
issues, of course. Stephen seems to be the mastermind that ferrets out the weak links, and JT is the brawn and charisma. TYSON: A better sport about being
voted out than I would have imagined.

Schadenfreude, loved your post, and your analysis. And yes, Tyson seemed almost redeemed in the three Pondorosa segments. I thought he had a bit of a
"sour grapes" sort of confessional on the day after, but the Pondorosa segment where he arrived and he was greeted by Brendan was really nice. He
subsequently seemed to shake off his character in the game, and my opinion of him went up.

Tyson's interview on RNO is up at SFnet. He truely doesn't realize how IGNORANT he is. He's intelligent, althetic and interesting alright. He
just has no clue how to play the game. Had he and C.raoch stuck with Sierra, if just to dump the Jalapoas, they'd have been in the driver seat. Instead he
played the personalities, not the game. His view seems to be "If I like them and they seem trustworthy, I'll go along". I understand dumping
Brendan he was a threat, Sierra wasn't would have done whatever they wanted (and still might this week). He totallt failed to see what threats JT and
Stephen are.
JT and Stephen will do some fence mending (fishing for votes) with C.roach and Deb and target Erinn & Sierra next. |

Ya Erick but he doesn't mention Brendan either. In Gabon the Onions hung with each other and ignored Kenny and Crystal, it could just be the same here.

Sierra on Brendan | ||

I found it interesting that they had an insider clip in which Sierra dumps on Brendan and blames him for her current weak position (aside: God, do I hate her
entitled, whiny, worthless ass). Is it a way of trying to give the more die-hard ones among us (the insider clip viewers) a reason to accept Sierra making it
into the finals?
The focus on her whining and crying, and the magnificent shots of her during tribal council (gorgeous cinema!) are enough of a reason for the general public to root for her, I fear. So I'm guessing, from all the attempts to enlist our support, that she makes the final four, possibly more. |

I'm thinking that Sierra ends up going next. Erinn would be willing to jump back to Timbira but Sierra will be waivering all episode. Just like with
Christy in the Amazon, they will get rid of the waivering vote to save everyone.
And Coach will probably mend things with JT/Stephen. In Coach's mind, Taj and Erinn will leave after Sierra. And either Coach or Deb will be booted after Sierra because that's how you play the damn game. |

What Timbira is doing to itself is far worse than what the women did to each other in Vanuatu when Chris was the only male. It's just unbelievable how they are sitting back and letting 3 Jalapenos take the game so easily. It really, really is. It's acceptable to take out one of your own, especially a strong one who loses immunity, when you're up 6-3. However, to then proceed to take out another one of your own, and one very unlikely to win immunity, is just plain stupid. I can understand He-who-I-refuse-to-call-by-name because essentially he's delusional about this or any game. But Tyson seemed smarter than that. Oh well. For what it's worth, here's how I see it playing out (and since I'm usually wrong ...) Next to go: I can believe it's Debbie. She just proved that she can win immunity, she's freakishly strong physically for her size, and she's you-know-who's little lap dog. (and for a supposedly smart woman, explain how she got sucked into that silliness!) If she doesn't win immunity, she's a logical boot. Erinn: I think that Erinn will stick with JT/Stephen/Taj for now. The Tims have to figure out that she voted for Tyson. Sierra voting for Tyson is forgiveable since she couldn't vote for herself, but Erinn--clear evidence of treachery. He-who-I-refuse-to-call-by-name: Rumors are that he makes it to F5. That made me unhappy before, but it will be worth it to see him twist in the wind for two more weeks. The very best thing about last week's blindside was the look on his face when he realized Tyson was going. Priceless! I don't know when I've disliked a player more. Well, maybe last year with the Entitlement Two and Spineless Charlie. Sierra: I guess I need to actually listen to the Insiders. So far she hasn't struck me as an awful person, just very young and SERIOUSLY manipulated by you-know-who and Tyson's attempts (successful!) to put her on a guilt trip. I have to say that part of last week made me sick to my stomach. <soapbox> I REALLY hate to see stronger personalities convince someone who is unsure of themselves that they did something wrong by trying to put themselves further in the game. All that "you weren't loyal" crap just drove me crazy. I kept saying "Stick it to them, Sierra! You WERE loyal to the one person who was loyal to you." And Tyson was just plain nasty for no good reason.</soapbox> Anyway, JT and Stephen don't like Sierra either and I can't tell if that's from listening to the Tim guys, or from their own observation. BUT she would make an excellent goat and I bet Stephen is smart enough to see that. Taj: She is not in the end game plan of the two Jal men, but they won't kick her to the curb before F3 is my guess. We were shown that clip about Eddie George and JT thinking Taj doesn't need the money for a reason. JT: Are these people completely mental? JT is strong, charismatic, and hasn't won an individual immunity yet. KNOCK HIM OUT OF THE GAME!!! Won't happen. JT is, in actuality, what He-who-I-refuse-to-call-by-name thinks he is: a charismatic leader, much beloved and not bad at "strategery" either. Stephen: could take it all but I have this feeling that if he's dumb enough to go to F2 with JT that he'll lose. No matter what he says, they'll think JT was the mastermind, and everyone seems to genuinely WANT JT to win if they can't win themselves. One last word, because I haven't been able to post much this season due to a new job. My favorite person this season was Brendan, although I didn't think he would be able to win because of the Coach/Tyson alliance. The way he went out was just plain classy. Not only was he not angry at the other players, he took delight in his own blindside because "that's the way the game is played." Great stuff.
