She was beyond whiny, I felt like I heard the same story from her 30 times and was beyond sick of it, I can only imagine what it would have been like in real life. I personally thought I would see people saying she was negative and see people saying P or PP? Wow. I suppose I could see M, but certainly not P.

I felt sorry for Sierra, she was edited as mixed, but definitely was the underdog that we root for against big bad Coach's warrior alliance. Coach came off bad for being cocky and eating at the immunity challenge. Stephen also ate, I'm not sure if that's bad for him...I didn't think it was. Tyson only ran down Coach for eating. J..T. came off bad for calling Sierra a name, I think most of the audience was feeling sorry for her and his saying that wasn't very nice. Stephen was not shown saying anything bad about Sierra, another plus on Stephen's side. I really like Debbie, but her problem is she is with the wrong guys. What I'm thinking now is....when the time comes, will Debbie go before Erinn? I think Debbie might outlast Erinn after tonight. Stephen was the one that was shown wanting Tyson out right away, even if it wasn't just his idea it was shown as his. Good for Stephen! I loved tribal council tonight, talk about smug looks, big smiles, and eye rolling....all of my favorite shots! And Brendan's smile and clap at the end? Priceless! Anyone for Stephen/Sierra as the final two? Winner pick....Stephen the wizard!

Totally took me by surprise... the 'boot Tyson' idea seemed like another attempt at misdirection. Two weeks in a row where I was surprised by the vote result! Erinn had a great edit this episode, but not as a winner. I'm seeing another Amanda-- basically nonexistent story pre-merge, with a building game in the post-merge. I think to the casual viewer, Erinn's going to start to look really good on the winner radar, but I see her as an obvious F2 loser. Who's going to vote for her over Stephen or JT? On another note, I think this episode was better for JT's chances than Stephen's. The 'blindsiding Tyson' storyline went as this: 1. Erinn comes up with the idea 2. Stephen considers it, pushes for it 3. JT is seen as the decision maker To me, this seems best for JT. Erinn and Stephen are involved, yes, but JT is seen as the one who will make or break the plan. Maybe you could call it a "distraction," but hey, we're nine episodes in, and this type of edit doesn't hurt at this point. It seems to be further development of the "worthy warriors are honest" story with Coach (which, admittedly, may not be so great after all)... I see JT having more jury connections than Stephen at this point. Nonetheless, I'm still picking Stephen. He's my post-Sierra (haha) choice, and while JT might have gotten a slightly better edit this episode, I do think it was still a great cooldown for Stephen in the long run. But the two are mostly neck-and-neck in my eyes. Ratings: Coach: CPM Debbie: MORP Erinn: CP JT: CP Sierra: CPM Stephen: MOR Taj: UTR Tyson: OTTN

I initially thought that it was Stephen's idea, so when I heard Erinn's confessional that said "I have to decide who goes, not leave it to other people." She got credit for the idea in her confessional, Stephen's part was emphasized in conversation. The decision left to the person with power, J.T.

Is that her story? I guess we'll see. Seems like a big moment for her, but the overall story is about Stephen and JT. eta: I say Stephen is the winner. Longshot: Erinn. They feel like they are experiencing a very special thing. All we really got was they were all starving and ate an embarrassing amount of food. Debbie connected with the kids, Erin did a dance but ended up throwing up. No one really stood out as really appreciating the cultural experience of the trip. Debbie talked about missing her kids, but did not talk about how these kids did not have the resources or schools available so it seemed she really missed the mark. As positive as she is I would have expected her to maybe mention maybe these kids need teachers, book, school supplies. She did mention she was a principal. This was the weakest cultural reward challenge I have ever seen.

Despite her UTRs, she's had such a kid glove glorious edit-when c'mon she's a bit of a drip. I'm thinking Erinn does something to shoot herself in the foot. probably because she's smart and realizes some strategy needs to be done, while Sierra drools in the corner. Sierra is a huge drip, and there is a rumor she is dating a producer. She was in an underdog context, but her personality ruined it. Negative SPV from Debbie, Erinn and JT, plus getting cut off by Probst at TC. Defintely M at best. Didn't even smile when the vote went her way. Tyson was N as usual, but you gotta empathize with his annoyance when Sierra told him an obvious lie (that she wouldn't have voted for him if he was the target). Sierra came off like the slacker student claiming the dog ate her homework. Sierra is such an obvious goat (unlikeable and not bright), she's a threat for Stephen to want to take her all the way. Watch out Erinn, Taj, and JT. Stephen > JT tonight. He got an exile scene, JT got nothing on reward. And Stephen was edited as talking a hesitant JT into turning on the Warrior alliance. Stephen's instinct for going after the strong should make JT worry.

We knew this was coming and we've been predicting it for a while now, so yes she had a good individual episode, but this is where her season storyline ends. Her big accomplishment and purpose this season is blindsiding Tyson and Coach, not being the winner.

Tyson's edit was all about being blindsided by Erinn, but Erinn never spoke about Tyson after the first episode, she always spoke about herself, and that is something people are ignoring here, in my point of view... We know a lot of Erinn's real life and she was never only connected to Tyson and Coach, she talked about herself and her position on the tribe... About the episode I agree with craig that it was way better for Stephen than it was for JT.... And I also agree that Sierra was not only positive, she had negative moments wich made her mixed. Winner: Stephen Still has a shot: 2. Erinn 3. JT

But the producers are one step ahead, lol. I't amazing that "warriors" JT and Stepehn are supposedly outnumbered 5-3 by Timbira, they don't compete, and it raises no comment. You KNOW if they got overthrown that would be edited as a key mistake. Beating Tyson was definitely Erinn's accomplishment and was edited as such, but with so much focus on their relationship (opening statements, etc) is that THE thing Erinn does? Erinn has moved past the "beating Tyson\Coach" storyline since ep.6. First, Brendan and Sierra replaced her on Tyson's hitlist. More importantly, Erinn's story has moved into "finding a place in Jollypal." She bonded with Joe ep.6 (while Sierra and Coach were fighting about beans), she approached JT for Joe's spot ep.8, and she's getting long-term CP strategy comments tonight.

But the fact is pre-merge all she had going for that anyone could remember is her saying she hated Tyson/Coach. She didn't have any connection to the end-game and she didn't show an ounce of strategy until the 6th episode when she poorly picked the one person who had NO power in Jalapao. Merger hits and she recognizeds the power is in JT finally and she goes to him. But it's too late for her edit now to turn around into a winner edit. She needed some of these strategic moments or at least connection to the end game early on to keep her viable as a winner. To me, Erinn seems like she is more likely going to be a HUGE distraction in the coming episodes and into the end-game if she makes it that far. Going from having absolutely nothing going on to a HUGE spike in strategy and airtime is bad bad bad for Erinn. I still say that JT or Stephen is going to win. There's a reason Erinn went to JT to save herself, he's the guy that appears in power for Jalapao, but the edit is showing Stephen being the true guy behind the scenes, especially tonight with him getting the focus behind the Tyson boot scheming. Erinn did mention it first, but you bet when that recap comes around at the beginning next episode, they will credit Stephen.
