I could see Stephen turning on JT or Brendan before he takes out Debbie, but I think that Erinn and Sierra are our fly under the radar players this season (only they are getting a little better edits than, lets say, Susie).

I really like Edgic because it provides a structured environment to discuss Survivor the way I like to discuss Survivor (as opposed to 'I'm rooting for Bob because he's nice'), but I think a better way to predict how contestants will perform (which is touched upon and mentioned in Edgic, but not analyzed ad nauseum like everything else) is superfluous 'end game' scenes versus 'in game' scenes.

'In Game' scenes are ones that pertain directly to the storyline of the current episode or the episode afterwards
For example, during episodes 2, 3 and 4, Taj was a CP in Edgic, but I'd argue that her scenes were only 'in game', they were entirely plot driven and contained no foreshadowing.

'End Game' scenes are ones that set up conflicts or provide subtle biography to characters
For example, the Erinn vs. Tyson storyline, which began on the truck in the very beginning of the first episode, has not come to fruition. Erinn, and her feelings towards Coach/Tyson are foreshadowing, and contain no immediate plot-points.

Some interesting observations when comparing 'in game' edits with 'end game' edits:
Sierra's strongest episode, episode one, was almost entirely 'in game'. The story of her being voted out of the trek to camp could not have been left out of the episode, and her subsiquent reaction to it was part of the immediate storyline. Having an 'in game' edit isn't necessarily a kiss of death (some players are just more crucial to the immediate storyline and can't help but be edited that way), but Sierra's redemption story-arc is out of necessity, not a creation by the editors.

Some loose end 'end game' edits:
Taj being wealthy. Does she need the money?
Erinn versus Tyson and Coach
Sierra versus Coach
Stephen versus JT (Stephen the super-skeptical versus JT the trustworthy)
Sierra at the post-merge feast (no direct application to the episode, but provided a way for Stephen to comment on Sierra)
Erinn and her break up

Some former loose end 'end game' edits that have now been tied up:
Tyson and Coach (all of Tyson's 'I'm using Coach' talk from the beginning of the season has been negated by the 'previously on survivor...' segment last episode where it said that 'Tyson has chosen Coach').

How this works WITH edgic:
One of the biggest flaws in Edgic is that it sometimes fails to differentiate between an 'in game' and 'end game' edit.

Take Marcus for example: in retrospect, he had no 'end game' edit what-so-ever. Every bit of his edit was 'in game', it was a reflection of what was actually happening on the island at that precise moment. Of course, hind-sight is 20/20, but now, it's easy to see that the Onion alliance had no complexity or foreshadowing. It was all 'we're going to win, we're the best'. If the Onion alliance had ended up victorious, you can bet that we'd see more confessionals about Colleen's opinion of Marcus and blonde girl, etc. Edgic calls this 'doubt', but 'doubt' is an oversimplification (not all winners inheriently have doubt, but they all have conflict).

Compare that with Bob. Colleen DID comment on Bob being lazy strategically. Of course, this was partially 'in game' (he was 'replaced' by Randy in the alliance), but at the time, the comment seemed slightly out of place. Then again, it's not like all the analysis in the world could have foreseen Bob winning.

Anyway, just my two cents. Feel free to return them if you like.
