Since I just saw Barbra Streisand's version of "A Star Is Born", I would like see someone sing "Woman in the Moon," but the judges would probably have no clue what the song was or someone wanted to go country "Over You" from Tender Mercies. Personally, if I was in this I would go out flaming this week singing both sides of "Dancin" from Xanadu. |

I agree. When She Loved Me is a very good song and would be great for her.

Speaking of U2, I'd love to see Anoop perform With Or Without You (there's an obscure Irish movie of the same name based on this song, so that
counts, right). Just imagine... the sexy build up of his adorable tenor all the way to the dramatic chorus. Oh my.

If I hear one more contestant sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", I'm going to cut someone. And <3 Quentin Tarantino as a guest judge. When
he was guest judge in Season 3, he wasn't all nicey-nicey to the contestants -- if their performances were crap, he called them on it, unlike most of the
other guest judges, who seemed afraid to say one bad word about any of them.

I agree, Quentin was a great guest mentor back in season three, they need to have more judges like him that don't care when they critique the contestants.
Gwen Stefani was another guest mentor that I liked, and Jennifer Lopez was surprisingly good as well. |

I saw this suggested somewhere else but I really want Kris to sing "That Thing You Do!"

They need to get Cyndi Lauper in. She rocked on Canadian Idol in season 4, actually helping the singers with their voices for the songs they chose.

Yeah, put Chokey in the mosh pit so they can praise him a week after calling Kris indulgent for doing it.

Is that why they called Kris indulgent? I didn't realize it had anything to do with the mosh pit placement.

I think they called Kris indulgent because of his song choice rather then him being in the pit.

I didn't get the critique at all - especially in light of just how indulgent MATT was and they creamed over him...
