For all that is good and holy, could they not make Ariel such a FUCKING BITCH???

I find Ariel pretty realistic actually. Sometimes I hate her, but I can totally remember what I was like at that age and it's pretty much like that. This
is why I do not want children, especially a girl!
Also, really liked tonight's ep. Even tho I guess the twist really early this time. |

I can remember being a brat but I cannot remember being such an ungrateful little bitch like that. She lies to her parents and then acts like THAT?
FOr some reason that just pissed me off. lol |

Ariel acts like most of the 15 and half years old teenage girls in America. Sweet as pie when she's asking for something, and nasty as a she-devil when
she doesn't get it. It's hormones and Red Bull. An evil combination.
Nice to see Dawson getting some work. |

Ariel was at times a very sympathetic character and very bratty one last night. The young woman who plays her is a great actress. |

I'm the proud owner of a newly minted 14 year old daughter and for me, watching Ariel and Alison interact was like watching a home movie. As someone here
already said, hormones. I loved when Ariel got all huffy and said, Fine - I just won't go and Alison said great, problem solved. (Or words to that
effect.) Ariel realized she hadn't gotten the response even remotely close to what she wanted panic set in.
The only area of discussion they haven't had is body weight/image. They only need Ariel to start skipping breakfast or not taking/eating her lunch and I'd be watching myself. This show is a great example of typical family life in suburbia. (The only thing I didn't like about this epi was the opening sequence. Even if it's only acting, I don't like when they put a gun in a child's hand. I think that's wrong.) |

I hate that we're probably losing Medium to Leno. I really don't see them moving this to the 8 p.m. slot. The story lines just won't do in the
family hours.
I wish huge boils and coldsores upon Jay Leno. And chronic diarrhea. And constant urinary infections. Oh, and kidney stones for Christmas. That is all. |

Man, if I pulled half the crap Ariel did when I was her age, I wouldn't be alive. My mom did not tolerate that level of disrespect and now neither can I. lol |

It's one of the 2 shows on NBC that I watch. The other one is Heroes. Although at this point, if they cancelled Heroes, I don't think I'd care. |

SurvivorArctic wrote: I seriously don't think Ariel is any different from 'many' boy/girl teenyboppers. I taught for 10 years and trust me, I had about 100 Ariels (parent/teacher conferences tell it all)...so, this is not off behavior. True, some of us were nerds, saints, religious followers etc..but, she's pretty normal in my books, as are the other two kids..and that's why I love this family. |

MMMadcow wrote: Considering how they keep holding off the new season until January for the last couple of years, let's hope things will change by the time Medium comes around next year. This whole 5 night a thing for Jay Leno at 10pm is a little too risky, so maybe they'll reduce the number of times it'll be shown. |

I loved the buzzer ep. I only wish Ali had a ding ding ding noise when someone told the truth.
I bet the guy suing Joe was supposed to be the cweepy guy who stole the dead engineer's ideas. This ep: what no love for a TBC? The last time we got one of these was the Jason Priestly/Neve Campbell arc, which wound up being I think the best eps of this series evah. Note how they've got another ex-90's tween star in the lead. Ariel doesn't seem all that maladjusted. She didn't get what she wanted, so it's payback on the parents. Standard operational procedure. So the real sister was the body in the bag that Dawson hit with the shovel? Hardcore. I wonder how he's going to exact the revenge mayhem in the promos. It's not the guy's the Joker. |

Just watched it . I agree with SA .
As much as I empathize with those that have teen girls or teach them ? If this is the norm ? So sure it is , I cant stand them . Maybe she will break her neck on the ski trip . |

As the mother of two daughters, my kids never considered acting like Ariel. But then, they don't' ski.

"And yet again, the DA and Scanlon doubt her abilities. Holy hell. Will they never learn? "Isn't this pretty much a wink wink at the viewers by now though? |
