Weak week overall, and not because of bad performances. It's because of too many OK but mediocre ones. Although, there was one shining light.


9 - Anoop - The judges were too harsh but the frat boy comparison was apt. Singing was decent but the performance came off as mediocre. 5/10

8 - Danny - His best performance of the season, by far. It would've actually been really good, except for the few moments when he did over-sing. Randy was SO wrong; he doesn't need to get away from the mike and spaz out all the time and really annoy a lot of us; no, he needs to do a lot more of these lower key performances where he can shine and not seem like a douchebag. 7/10

7 - Scott - I am not a fan of that song at all, but like Simon said, this ended up being his best performance by a mile. And the hair looked good. 7/10

6 - Adam - I admire the risky song choice for sure and I loved the arrangement, but I HATE his shrill shrieks. It about ruins any song he does them in for me; he doesn't need them and they pulled his score down tonight for me. 7/10

5 - Megan - I thought it was a good song choice (I love Bob Marley!) and the judges were too harsh on her. I enjoyed the low key performance. 7/10

4 - Lil - I liked the performance, but I do agree that the song was a bit old-fashioned feeling for her. But again, her strong vocals pulled her performance up ahead of some of the others. 7/10

3 - Allison - Fantastic first and last parts but the middle dragged just a bit. And her outfit was about crazy, but I liked the fashion risk even if it didn't work great. And I totally disagree with the judge's silly comments about her looking like a wannabe; she looked like a fashion risk-taker. 8/10

2 - Matt - His best performance of the finals by a mile. Loved the peformance being in the audience. I wish he would always go with his heart and sing more rock than the r&b the judges want from him. I actually, for the first time, found myself liking him tonight, by his performance and by feeling bad for him for the judges AGAIN trying to impose on him what they want him to be when it's obvious that's not what he wants. And of course, the judges were way too harsh on him because he didn't do what they wanted. 8/10

1 - Kris - Loved it. One of the best performances of the season, and definitely his best. I love the song to begin with, and I love what he did with it, and his vocals were great. He's really emerginig as a great artist in addition to being adorable and nice. 9/10


I'd like the B3 to be Anoop, Danny and Scott with Danny going.

I predict the B3 will be Megan, Allison and Anoop with Megan going.
