Because she wasn't worth it, not because she was in control of the votes. Sandra didn't win because of the "As long as it ain't me" strategy, but because people played with the "We got bigger fish to fry than Sandra." strategy. You know when a nuclear bomb goes off they say that only cockroaches survive? That's how I saw the outcome of PI. All the big players were busy killing each other and in the end, only Sandra was somehow left behind. I'm profoundly sorry to compare her to a cockroach because she's such an awsome lady, but you get the analogy. Oh and Tom never received a vote either and he's been out of this poll for a while. Funny how some arguments only apply to certain winners and not for others. Whatever is conveniant for people.

You are completely dismissing the fact that Cirie is considered a great player by just about everybody and that Sandra won in arguably the most difficult season and you think we all just gave them high marks for being minorities or because they are sassy? Rob I can see, and yes Jenna was in the top 4/5 players that season, but just because she won, she by no means was the second best player of the season. Jenna was the more entertaining Becky to Heidi's Yul. Jenn sat back for the most part and Heidi did a lot of the work. Sure Jenna helped, but so dud Becky and near no one give Becky any credit. In order of top 4 players in Amazon i'd say it goes, Cesternino, Heidi, Deena and then Jenna..but i'd say Jenna and Deena are pretty close to tying for 3rd since Deena blew up her game. Re-watch Amazon people, and then tell me Jenna was the second best player that season...(PS she completely deserved her win..she just wasn't the second best player.)

Maybe she got ranked a little too high, but its nice to see her being appreciated. I just remember when she won in Marquesas, everyone on the AOL forums (future Rupert lovers), kept saying over and over again how she was the worst winner ever and that Paschal, Neleh, or Kathy deserved to win over her....and how Realitynewsonline put her in the hall of shame (Which is a load of crock). My favorite is how so many people at that time called her a flip-flopper, anon-entity in the game, and a backstabber all at once (which of course they all contradict each other). Vecepia was a cool player, because she was one of the first types of people to start to swing back and forth, she was a really good chameleon in that she immediately switched over to Rotu during the switch and then switched back to Maaramu. I think what I appreciate most about Vee, was that she was the only person to ever use a luxury item as a strategy. It was pretty impressive that she was taking notes of her fellow castaways so that she can win the fallen comrades challenges. The thing with Yul is that it is true that he did got an easier path thanks to the HII. However, if any person was in Yul's position, wouldn't they do virtually the exact same gameplay? She was turned on because she was 1 of the top dogs but in the end Fairplay and Burton came running back to her to do her bidding as did the Morgan girls. Sandra was all about as long as it's not her so it doesn't matter if her allies were voted off. Sandra was invincible!
