[how long will this last?] Well not only is Bo's brother Max sleeping with his daughter, his other brother Roman is sleeping with his wife! [didn't see that coming, I thought the "vision man" would turn out to be Dr Creepy] Chloe discovers she's pregnant. [oh, joy] Tony and Nicole both overhear Sami say she's going to adopt a baby. [good times.] Rafe and Sami share an intense kiss when they go to pick up Grace from the convent. [oh, yeahhhh] Tony and Philip have it out at the pier.[ummm... kinda weird]

Spoiler [+] Monday, March 23 Rafe and Brady meet for the first time at the pub and discuss Sami. Sami announces that she's adopting a baby. Tony's plans to expose the truth about Nicole are put on hold by Sami's announcement. Nicole has her first drink in months, then phones Brady for help. Lucas and Chloe are surprised to see Kate at the justice of the peace. Kate wants Lucas and Chloe to annul their marriage so they can have a big wedding in Salem. Daniel informs Maggie that Lucas and Chloe got married. Max and Chelsea help Theo rehearse for his part in a play. Tuesday, March 24 Kate is still determined to get rid of Chloe. Bo talks to Hope about his vision. Daniel visits Brady. Tony's resentment intensifies and he dwells on his dilemma of following in his father's shadow. Wednesday, March 25: Victor fires Philip from Titan. Philip wants to meet Tony on the pier. Hope becomes more worried about her husband. Bo is upset to see Hope talking to Roman. Thursday, March 26: Rafe and Sami share another kiss before bringing Grace home. Nicole confronts Mia about blabbing to Tony. Nicole finds Philip and Tony fighting on the pier. Kate is still determined to end Lucas and Chloe's marriage. Friday, March 27: E.J. and Stefano discuss Tony leaving the family. Stefano vows revenge on Tony. Chloe feels sick and worries after she checks the calendar. Chloe realizes that she missed a day or two of her birth control pills. Daniel apologizes to Chloe. Sami questions Sister Agnes about Rafe's past. Sami bids farewell to the Convent of the Holy Cross. Bo cancels his date with Hope. Additional Spoilers: Philip makes Tony an offer for the fuels project formula, but he refuses. Tony advises Philip to step out from Victor's shadow. Tony falls on a sharp piece of wood which pierces his back, and things don't look too good for him. Philip tells Nicole to call 911 after Tony's accident, but she phones E.J. instead. I've been dying to say how much I want to see Nicole's secret spilled. She was so much fun when she came back, but now she's just an annoying mess to watch and I'm sick of her. I am sad to see Tony's leaving now that he's finally getting interesting again. What a waste. Sami and Rafe together. Hot damn! She's had most of the better looking men in Salem for sure.

God, I had to back that up to watch it again because it was just so embarrassing. I always FF through Max no matter which relative he is trying to bed, but luckily I was working and didn't get the chance to FF. How demeaning must that be to have to plug a product in the middle of a scene. I have heard of product placement before, but this was hysterical.

And where the hell was Anna during the christianing? The product placement on this show is beyond ridiculous. If they feel the need to advertise it should be for Trojans. I think we get it by now that sex causes babies, now they need to emphasize preventing STDs. I'd love to see Chloe come down with a scorching case of herpes.

I remember Passions had lube as their placement right as Ethan & Gwen were going to have sex. I'm FF ALOT lately. The only parts I can watch is Nicole/Sami & Kate. The rest is all boring. Chloe being pregnant is LAME. Seriously, do the writers actually think the viewers care about Who The Daddy storylines? OVERPLAYED x 50 trillion. Here's hoping Kate goes batshit crazy again ala Greta's Coronation and kills a bunch of people.

Spoiler [+] Week of April 3rd: The fall-out is sure to continue as Tony died after his fight with Philip, who swore the whole incident was an accident. Would Nicole back him up on that? And if she did, what would that mean for her future as a DiMera? Will Kate move forward with her dastardly plan if she learns there is a Roberts' heir involved? Week of April 10th Philip tried to get out from under Victor's shadow, but even if he succeeded, a threat from Stefano might take him out of everything. Nicole's erratic behavior threatened her happiness, specifically, her marriage to EJ! Week of April 17th Nicole desperately raced to the altar, while at least three people planned on stopping her. Would she make it to the "I do?" Kate continued to plot murder and it looked like Bo's vision of Hope and Roman was about to come true! Week of April 24th EJ and Nicole's wedding continued, but Sami arrived, bent on stopping it. Would she succeed? Across town, Stefano's plan for revenge was fulfilled (more or less), causing another similar plan to begin. Will Victor manage to kill his new nemesis? Week of May 1st Philip survived the attempt on his life, but will he agree to get out of Salem to avoid another attempt? Stefano, meanwhile, learned why he wasn't feeling so well and it was quite a surprise. Brady made an important decision.

So, is cold turkey best??? Everyone I ever cared about on the show is gone or are going (Tony has been fabulous this week and I find myself actually watching the show for a change instead of just listening while I do other things) and the ones that remain have such pitiful storylines now. Why in the world did they keep Roman and get rid of robotJohn??? I had never enjoyed him more than I did right before he left. The recycled plots are worse than ever and the spoilers just sound like more of the same with characters that I hate. Maybe it really is time to delete the season pass - sigh - the end of a lifetime tradition.

Posts: 1615 (03/25/09 8:48 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I hate watching this show in real time - I can usually get through an episode in 30 minutes - 20 if I'm lucky.......today's was pretty good - I did watch it in real time because I was also cooking/eating supper - but overall the show is a filler - nothing happens to further any storylines but : Spoiler [+] Ole man Vic fires Phil, Nicole gets Brady's help in order for her to steal the blueprints from Tony but is unsuccessful, Bo and Hope are suppposed to have a date night, but he has the vision of her and Roman together (again), then sees them hugging at the Pub. I didn't pay attention during the Chels/Stephanie scenes, but I don't think there was any product placement I've left this show cold turkey and stayed away for about 7-8 years and only came back the summer they were getting rid of Carrie and Austin and have watched off and on since - mostly off.
