They were being interviewed, I think it was by the EW people at a party. I think it was the night of the Wild Card. I wonder if its in the EW archives (?).
Each contestant had something to contribute. Noop said something nice about Ricky Braddy...But DOUCHE said that he thinks that one has to be careful not to sing previous idol songs, just in case they outsing them, it wouldn't be cool (paraphrasing).

I know its a pandering for votes song. Last year on Nashville star, this big momma won over a better country singer. She sang JTTW. It got her mega votes!
