Tricky photoshoot, but I'm glad they had that. It's been a while since they did something that difficult.

Yeah, but this is the first time that they never even cut one piece of hair. Heather got a trim and I'm pretty sure so did all the other girls who

Aminat was hilarious on this episode.
In a way, she reminds me of Danielle but feistier. Thalia needs to go. She doesn't look like a model even without the burn scars. She's not even fit to be a model on a weekly flyer. And Celia the fashionista and the surprise breakout favourite <3 <3 <3 |

WTF is with this cycle's budget? The retarded stills in the intro are back, the Tyra mail photo is recycled, they don't have the gas to drive to
Wal-Mart, Tyra apparently only had the money to pay for 11 haircuts and one color of dye, and they couldn't get a real photographer so they had to use
Nigel. Even the guest judge was recycled.

The theme of this show is confusing. Last week they were like goddesses, this week - Tyra was channelling Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. I thought
she was going to call the Jays gumshoes for a second.
Miss Jay's hair at judges panel - totally Moe Howard. So many girls to love Aminat, Celia and Allison, Fo, London Hate: Natalie and Sandra. Why does Sandra always say she is the next top model and on her laundry list of reasons why "I'm African". If that's the case, we should have had 2 african top models by now. She's not even as good as they were. |

A few of the reasons the blondes always look so fake in ANTM land...
1) The blonde rarely goes with the skin tone of the model. Olive skin and blonde hair do not really work together most of the time. 2) Tyra's cheap. Taking dark hair to blonde takes quite a few steps, and Tyra cuts corners. She appears to be lifting their original color and as soon as it approximates blonde, she quits. That makes them all look brassy or greenish. 3) No highlights and lowlights in a dye job = fake looking hair. Tyra's repeating her makeovers waaaaaaay too much. Black girl with a Naomi weave, check. Short blonde soccer mom haircut, check. Black girl nearly shaved and dyed blonde, check. Token redhead, check. Some new ideas might be kind of nice... GoddessAminat stays!! Yay!! And Alison looked better to me this week...not sure if the hair helped or not, but she is growing on me. Oh...and after Natalie's stupid little meltdown at the salon, I'd have said, "Fuck it!", and whacked off a chunk of her hair for fun. Whiny bitches. |
