He's a thought, maybe they won't wrap in 3 episodes. They will leave the story lines open for TV and or Big Screen movies??

Why did tonight feel like a filler episode as well? I mean, it felt like filler->small amount of substance->filler->small amount of
substance->filler
UGH, why are you disappointing me BSG?! |

The last 3 episodes have made me weep for the show that once was. What the fuck was with Adama (my Adama) pulling a Pollock with the white paint?
Nice, little random freak out. |

They can only have so many of the exact same Roslyn and Adama "it's sad that you're dying and we have dreams of a cabin on the beach" scene
without Roslyn actually dying before it loses all potency... and they used up their alotment quite a while ago.
Especially seeing that this last episode was directed by Olmos himself, the whole thing was so self-congratulatory and self-aggrandizing. Like this episode was the show throwing itself its own big goodbye party and expecting us to care. |

I listen to Ron Moore's podcasts. He's entranced by EJO, Mary what's her name, and the guy who plays Baltar. He thinks it's cool that he took
the earth idea, pissed all over it and tossed it in a corner. He's the show runner. I really don't expect anything to get any better by the end.
I think the show cuts have been so bad lately, that even if the writers had any plot, it's cut up so bad to give EJO et al air time that it makes no sense by the time it airs. |

It's great that Ron's got all these great ideas -- he won't be working with the Sci Fi channel again, that's for sure, who are pissed that
their syndication deal, which should be a no brainer given the rabid fan base, is fraked. Who could watch this in reruns and have any idea what was going on?

Dammit. I hate to say it, but I was disappointed, too.
Boomer's all evil and then suddenly gains compassion? Why does Caprica Six hate Baltar so much while head Six doesn't? No blowback on Tyrol for letting Boomer escape? After all these filler-ish episodes, this one seemed like a lost opportunity. I am intrigued by Starbuck being something more than a Cylon though. I still have hopes that they can pull out a kickass finale, but I don't see how. |

SurvivorArctic wrote: The White Paint sloshing reminded me of Kara's White Paint sloshing with Leoben so I figure Adama had sex with the ship after. Yeeeeaaah Boomer having a blustery heart all of a sudden was just annoying. A whining baby does not = warm cockles. A crying baby means jam it in the arm with a syringe full of sleepy time. Trust your instincts Boomer! I actually liked Anders for once. But he'll never compare to the Orgasmic Jumping Hybrid. |

Just like Thrace, this show actually died a long time ago and is running on fumes.

Like this episode was the show throwing itself its own big goodbye party and expecting us to care. Thats exactly how I felt. It was basically the show blowing itself. I haven't minded the two before this, but THIS episode was incredibly disappointing. Like, if the show didn't have 100 unanswered questions, it'd be fine, but for a show like BSG to have THAT mess as their fourth or third to last episode is just...ugh. Oh well, hopefully the next ones are more exciting. What did the preview seem to indicate? That Adama is going on some final mission with all the main characters? I guess they find the colony or something. Maybe Boomer takes Hera back and tells them how to get there. |

These episodes wouldn't be so bad if the series finale weren't right around the corner. This is starting to approach LOST season 3 levels of banality.

Finally saw the most recent episode and I totally agree what everyone has already said. BORing! Afterwards I said to my wife, "Um, what actually
happened?" and she said, "Boomer took Hera to Cavil! And Sam is hooked up to the ship like a hybrid! And they're going to abandon ship! And Gaius
did SCIENCE again!" Frak science -- I want some explosions and shit.

And how fucking LAME was it for Starbuck to bitchslap Gauis???
I wanted her to fucking deck him or blow his damn head off. Jesus. The old Starbuck would have put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. |

And when did Kara get all into Anders, you know, her actual husband? Did she forget Lee existed? What was the point of shoving all of that down our throats if
they're just going to abandon it? If I were Jamie Bamber, I'd be pissed that they turned me into a stuff suit on a show that's about outer
space. If anything, he should be wearing less clothes, not more.

I am so disappointed in how this series is wrapping up. I really think the "Ellen explains it all" episode was where they started to jump the shark,
with all of the retcon, etc. It's been boring, all over the map, inconsistent with previous characterizations and mythology, poorly written, edited and
directed. I didn't comment on any episodes after posting the link to the most awesome chart ever because I wanted to hope that it would get better, but it
isn't. I can't believe I'm feeling so sad and melodramatic about a tv show! I kind of wish the series had ended with them finding a nuked Earth
and left it at that.
I can't imagine what the cast could be talking about when they say that the series ending is perfect. Sigh. This is really a letdown for me. P'ha - I think Cap Six had finally realized that Baltar doesn't love her the way she loved him and moved on. I mean, she was definitely made to feel like the third wheel in the D'Anna/Baltar/Six threesome, etc, and she didn't hear what she wanted to hear from Baltar before his trial, so she gave up on him.

From the time they found that other so-called "Earth", it's become so obvious to me how the show ends, and I'm bored shitless by it. I still
think they're going to end up settling another uninhabited planet at the end of the series. They'll called it "Earth" also. The camera will
pull back, revealing it to be our Earth.
The only think I'm curious about is this whole Starbuck coming back to life thing. Will the President die and come back to life in a new body? I'd bet money on it. |
