I only started watching this so I wouldn't miss HOMYM. But I have to admit it's growing on me.

OMG! So much love for the whole sequence of Penny getting Sheldon's jump drive!

"Hi Penny, it's Leonard again..."
Poor Raj. The guy was working it. I think that may be the first time Summer Glau has ever been filmed smiling. I know how a lot of people upthread were bitching about product placement; note how they plugged two non-CBS shows. At least they're not discriminatory. |

Speaking of product placement, y'all get that was the actual Nobel prize winning laureate George Fitzgerald Smoot III on the show tonight that brushed off
Sheldon with the "crack" line, right?
The dude that pretty much proved the "big bang" theory with his work on the black body form and anisotropy of the cosmic microwave background radiation? He is a big fan of the show. So they gave him a cameo. Talk about your "product placement"! |

The best part of this episode -- BY FAR -- was Sheldon and Penny's phone conversation.

The whole episode was great. Sheldon & Penny's phone conversation was comedic gold. Raj playing well with Summer, and then Wolowitz blowing it, was
hilarious too.
I'm honestly having a hard time deciding whether this or The Office is the best comedy on TV today (HIMYM has put itself out of the running completely with such a succession of subpar episodes). |

Great episode all the way around.
LOVED 'Whaddup, Moon Pie?' Still love Raj and the liquid courage. 'Have you seen Slumdog Millionaire? That was loosely based on my life...' This show just continues to impress. |

In two words: Epically hilarious.
Where to begin... "You forgot your flash drive you forgot your flash drive you forgot your flash drive" "People don't go in my room!!!" "Dr. Wack-a-doodle" " Loved when Penny would put Sheldon on hold. When he makes random noises in angst it's golden every time. "It's a legal right of access...good grief!" But my absolute favorite had to have been Raj discovering he was drinking non-alcoholic "beEER!" |

My husband is deathly afraid of flying, so a couple of years ago, we took the auto train to Disney World. We all said we'd meet him there when our plane landed...lol. So, as you can imagine, he loved Sheldon's fascination with the train.... We are going to Disney again next year, taking the train- to which I said, ooooh, yay.... and he turns to me and says, "don't say it like that... say it like this "We're taking the TRAAAAINNN!!!" I think I'm in trouble....lol |

One thing that I caught and thought to be pretty funny is that "Penny" has in fact previously played Anne
Frank...as Bridget in the days of 8 Simple Rules. I wonder if the writers knew that.
I loved Sheldon's fascination with the train, if only because I'm exactly like that with airplanes. The part when he was mapping out the timetable to grab the flashdrive and meet the train was so me whenever I fly anywhere. |
