- that's what i'm starting to think, the tribe has to decide whether to boot Syndey or the outsiders Sandy/Taj. Or over at Timbria the tribe has to decided whether to get rid of an outsider llike Sierra or get rid of Debbie.

I can definitely see Brendan as the leader of the opposition. It's even better since Ben-Ben the psycho-coach trusts him. Sierra can be had and is the
most vulnerable IMO. Who else would Brendan have? Erin? Tyson? It implies there would be 4. Taj appears to be with Jalapao in the IC so it's doubtful any
switch occurs this week. But it's possiby laying the groundwork for later on.
I do see Deb as being in a good position within the majority alliance. She'd be a target from the opposition, however. Could Brendan convince Psycho-coach Deb was against him? Dunno b/c Ben-Ben seems to trust her too. If Timbira goes I'm guessing Sierra is most likely, although it could be Erin if Ben-Ben gets a wiff that she plotted with Candace. Even if Sierra or Erin goes Brendan could potentially come up with 4 if Taj switched later on. |

Who else would Brendan have? Erin? From the web scenes, she and Brendan were curling up to stay warm at night. Usually I think that's someone you feel comfortable with, game-wise. Does Ben trust Debbie? Or just think that he can control her? (The fire pit scene was cute, but I'm still not convinced that Debbie was stupid, rather, that she is a middle-school principal. I wish we had seen the part where she reports back to the rest of the tribe.) |

Firepit looks small | ||

I do not think that the firepit is the big firepit that Brendan and Sierra dug at Timbira. That firepit was huge, probably 5 feet by 5 feet. The one in the
photo/clip is probably 2 feet by 2 feet. Brendan probably made a mini firepit at exile since it is all sand out there. Therefore, I don't think Taj
switches tribes. She's not that bad off. Psycho Sandy is still dangling as the obvious next boot, if they had to go to the next tribal council. She may
switch down the road, but I don't see that happening next week. I think the inclusion the firepit is suppose to mislead. Also, an alliance of four coming
from nowhere sounds like a hidden alliance that emerges after the merge.

Shirelles Lyrics "Mama Said"

I think Taj (SWV) says the title which is not only a folk saying, but a Shirelles song:
Mama said there'll be days like this, There'll be days like this Mama said (Mama said, mama said) Mama said there'll be days like this, There'll be days like this my Mama said (Mama said, mama said) I went walking the other day, Everything was going fine, I met a little boy named Billy Joe And then I almost lost my mind Mama said there'll be days like this, There'll be days like this Mama said (Mama said, mama said) Mama said there'll be days like this, There'll be days like this my Mama said |

I just can't see the rest of the tribe letting a mutinee and one of their tribe members sit alone at a beach campfire at night. That has to be on Exile.

Its pretty well established now that Taj does not switch this episode. I've stared at the firepit, and can't see anyone around it, so it may well be
misdirection and Taj might never be near that fire. So where then, is Taj high-fiving a male in darkness? Back on exile....or in Jalapao territory with
someone she's just recruited to join Brendon and her in a cross-tribe, down-the-road alliance? And if at her own camp, who is that male high-fiver?
Spencer?

I still think that's Brendan. If you watch the previews, when he pulls his arm away, it looks like he's wearing a button-down shirt, with the cuff pulled up. I don't think the fire-pit is a misdirection, I think the entire conversation might be a misdirection. Brendan and Taj might start an alliance, but they're still going to be on separate tribes. I wouldn't be surprised if nothing at all came out of this "devastatingly powerful alliance." |

I guess that could alude either to a mutiny, or to a snuff. I'm siding with a Taj mutiny down the road. (next time on survivor 3 clip buried in video section of CBS.com)

Ep. 3 - Solving Riddles | ||

I could see Taj flipping if Brenden is able to weaken the Coach/Debbie/Jerry and what appears to be the Tyson alliance by pulling in Tyson with Sierra and
Erinn to boot Debbie. Also if Timbera keeps up the chatter that Taj is expendable then the move to align with Brenden, even if it is a "future
alliance" is a good one.

Oops, I know, I know... Taj is on the Jalapano tribe not Timbira.

I say Brendan and Taj make an alliance. This is all prep for a future mutiny, I'm guessing - and both go back to their original tribes with supah secret
alliance and supah secret HII clues.

Taj & Brendan - "Devastingly powerful Alliance"
|
Probst has seconded this emotion in his EW blog. That seems to be Taj& Brendan making a "devastingly powerful alliance" and he uses the words
"end game." Somebody else can move his Ep.2 blog here. I'm too computer backward to do this...
Interesting that in the first episode Brendan was barely shown. His one confessional "I don't need a Coach." May that be the million $ quote in Ep.1 that we're always looking out for? Brendan and Taj are both rich already, or certainly well - off and BIG MISTAKE of Taj's to admit that to her tribe. But Brendan, who was shown quite extensively in Episode 2, is a master liar and he and Taj are both in the game for a different reason this season than we've seen before - FUN. As opposed to the mil$.... Brendan's "I don't need a coach" being his only Cf in Ep.1 pretty much defined his character in one sound bite. Yes, he doesn't need a Coach. HOWEVER, if anybody finds out what's really up with him, financially, that would never get him jury votes if he reaches the end game, which Probst has all but come out and says that they both do - in his blog. Love that Probst. Spoiling his own show. I don't think either Taj or Brendan could win jury votes. It would be the person who ends up aligning with them. OR maybe Brendan never let's on that he's well-to-do. Love the J.T./Stephen alliance!! Soooo cute! Is Stephen gay too? How many gay people are on this show? This season, I mean... |

I believe Probst said "could wreak havoc later in the game."
"I would love to know why Brendan chose Taj. I would have never guessed that and never dreamed he would share the Exile information with her. But it was an interesting move and now we have the potential for an alliance that could wreak havoc later in the game." (Entertainment Weekly Probst Ep. 2 Blog) |

"Could" and "Potential"

Thank you for correctly quoting that!
I guess the words "potential" and "Could" are Probst's way of maintaining wiggle room. But now it's revealed that Brandon is a MULTI-Millionaire, AT LEAST. He had the smarts to sense that Taj may be in an upper-income bracket, too, and he's going to work her for all she's worth, and she's going to be very grateful in return. I wonder which one finds the idol? Or since there's one at each camp, maybe they BOTH do!!!!YIKES!!! |

My bet is that Taj pulls an outsider from Jalapao and Brendan pulls an outsider from Timbira. I would LOVE for it to be Taj-Sandy-Sierra-Brendan, but
that's hoping beyond hope, I guess. I kinda think a few people are being set up for falls, Coach's minions and Spencer's minions. I can really see
Coach losing grounds in Timbira pre merge as with the Joe-Spencer-Sydney alliance. But, come merge, everyone will assume their best bet is to vote on tribal
lines--- but four votes will determine the first person sent out at merge

Taj needs to develop a bond with someone first. I guess I could see her bonding with Sydney or Sandy.

Well it would definitely be interesting if the two are Sierra and Sandy (that Brendan/Taj work with) considering they were the two people in danger and have
been given a lot of air time along with the "first impressions" scenario. I remember that scene where Taj called out Carolina in the water and even
though you saw other tribe mates in the water during the scene, it was edited because at one point it was just Sandy and Taj with Carolina. Sandy and Taj may
be hanging out together a bit.

I don't think we know Brendan picked Taj because he has some kind of $mildar. Candace said in a post-game interview that Brendan said he picked her because
he thought she might be on the outs at her tribe, which wouldn't be a bad guess as the older, black, woman. Course, Brendan lies.
Does Spencer have minions? |

We have already seen Brendan and Sierra working together so they could be two of the cross-tribal foursome. Taj bringing in Sandy is unlikely because Sandy is
such a loose cannon. I would think that Taj would work with a strong male who has a lot of influence (like JT) who would help her find the HII. If Taj shares
the HII clues with someone who is influential, it might help her avoid being a target if and when Jalapao goes to Tribal Council. I still think a tribal
switch is coming soon though. If a switch happens and Brendan and Taj end up on the sane tribe, they can work together to find the HII.
