Can we just get a new cast and start this show over? Please? All these characters in my opinion sort of act pious, holier-than-thou, and self-centered, and
this was BEFORE they were all being hunted down by the government. But I mean, really? God, I just hate how this story is being planned out, these characters
are annoying, there are no more twists to expect, and I'm resigned to the fact that Heroes is now becoming a horrible show.

Is Hiro still stuck in that 5 year old mind frame? Honestly, I can't care enough to remember details about this show. Hiro is fucking ANNOYING with all
this destiny bullshit. Christ, could somebody PLEASE write him some decent dialogue? "OMG It was ME who was supposed to stop the wedding" "The
fax... it's from DESTINY!" Whine whine destiny whine whine fate whine yatta. Rinse. Repeat.
And did anyone else get a lesbian love vibe when the bride looked at her friend then said a traditional wedding was not for her? Probably unintentional but still... It sucks how Daphne's just... gone. Hopefully, we'll see Matt be a LITTLE more affected next episode (since he wasn't in this one at all). And if Sylar kills Luke in an "emotional scene as Luke has come to regard him as the father he's never had and Sylar feels attachement to Luke" I'll be done with Sylar. I hope Luke kills Sylar instead, at least that would be less predictable. |

Poor Ali Larter. They gave her a great opening in Season 1, episode 1, with the Mustang Sally stuff....and that was it. THey made her Jessica, no, Nikki, no
Jessica no....and that ridiculous pattern went on for 2 whole seasons.
And now, well she's just Tracy Strauss. Finally a solid character. What to do with her? Lock her in a microwave for the season. Is it that hard to actually have her be another Hero like the rest of the lot? Or villain? Just something concrete please. And can someone explain her power? She can only freeze what she touches? So she can't make crazy ice walls like Iceman in X2 ? I only ask because if she can use her powers like Iceman, then having her repeatedly cornered by a bunch of military guys with rifles (last episode, this one) doesn't seem to pose enough of a threat to stop her..... Sorry if I should know this, I didn't watch the "villains" arc and I"m starting to regret tuning back in to the "Fugitives" one now... They really make these characters arrogant, stupid, and just plain use them poorly all around. Tracy, Mohinder, Syler, Claire, and Hiro are specifically the 5 that come to mind.... Tracy, they can't find a solid story or character for. Mohinder, is worthless and too bipolar (esp from what I've read about him in the Villains arc) Syler, gah! enough. We can't progress to new storylines til you end his for real. Claire, angsty teen. That's all she is, over and over and over. Hiro, has become a special ed. case. And ando? Why is he even still around? Can't he be a special guest star like Kimmy Gibler in Full house?

I forgive Mohinder being stupid because he was dumb since season 1. His stupidity is endearing in a pathetic sort of way, like a puppy who keeps crawling back
to an abusive master. I'd be disappointed if Mohinder suddenly had a brain and did something that made sense, but then this is Heroes. We all know
that'll never happen.
Everyone else that's stupid can go fuck off and die (i.e. the rest of the cast). |

I actually kinda liked the episode. +5 points for Ali Larter tied up and sweaty, -1 for the bra.
The Sylar story was cliche and predictable, but at least it was a little closer to an actual story. Almost consistent. ALMOST. Would've been better if he hadn't rescued the lil' turd at the end. Rebel storyline is awesome, but ONLY if it's Micah. And really, he's the only one that makes sense. If it's West or some other useless side-character, the show plummets back into the usual crap it's been lately. At least it gives Claire something to do other than whine. Because, really, on the list of heroes/villains that need to be locked up, she'd be dead last power-wise. I would've just said 'oh. Nice power. You can go now.' Ando/Hiro is ALMOST interesting... again, it depends on where they go with it. If they just constantly flirt with the growing tension between them, it's gonna get old in a hurry. When it looked like Ando was really becoming the hero, it got dramatically better - then plunged when they still let Hiro do his YATTA bullshit. Totally sick of the HRG stories. They took what was an awesome character, and fairly well-defined, and made him completely capricious. Just like Sylar. Of course there should be shades of grey, but they rarely, if ever, match up actions with motivations on either character. |

Future Hiro is actually pretty much the best character from the future episode. He was actually smart and used his powers to the fullest instead of running
around like a dumb buffoon like present Hiro.
But it's none of them because the writers already said there's no time traveling at all this volume. |

My theory is Hiro is still not fully recovered from his time sickness thingy or whatever, no matter what the show says. So his destiny crap is coming from a 8
year old mentality.
Future Hiro acts so much cooler because he is "adult Hiro" and perhaps more advanced in thinking and battle scarred and whatnot. Maybe? /shrug It's Heroes. |
