I'm gay, and I completely support trannies and what they choose to do and all that jazz, but it's weird. Getting your junk cut off or modified is weird. Plain and simple. I can totally see why some people, especially straight folk, would have a hard time calling a post-op tranny a "she." Biologically, she is still a man. Can't change that. However, and this is what he doesn't realize, "sex" and "gender" are 2 different things. Her "sex" will always be male because she IS still a biological male, but her "gender" is what she identifies as, so she should be called a "she." He clearly accepts her and doesn't make her life hell. You can't make him embrace the culture and ideologies. There are far worse people out there than Ryan, though I'll concede he is a huge camwhore. But, then again, what reality slave isn't?

And on the same note, as much as Ryan's faces were a reaction to the fact that he doesn't know much about being transgendered, I think most of it was because he could imagine the pain. It's like when a guy hears a story about being kicked down there, it actually hurts them. But hearing about that type of surgery, is MUCH worse to imagine than getting kicked.

He wasn't making faces and squirming the whole time. The scene is nearly 10 minutes long and he was inquisitive and squirmy all various times. He did hear her out and tried to get an understanding even though it's so foreign to him. In the end he didn't get it and summed it up with something like "I could never cut my weiner off". But I appreciated that he at least tried to learn more.

But I will say in this last episode he was a lot more tolerable to watch. Devyn going nuts about being called a college drop out when she technically IS one just made her look even more ridiculous. Her Kaitlynn and Sarah do back each other up and stand up for the wrong shit sometimes. They all have some major delusions going on. And omg, Kaitlynn is starting to annoy me more and more, I was glad Ryan talked to her he did handle himself well in that convo, but than Kaitlynn being upset with JD about 'telling the guys' when they all knew anyway was so uncalled for. Oh yeah, and than Sarah crying about being perceived as a the cunt she is just had my eyes rolling big time.
