Why could he carry a lantern but not give John a hand?
Also, I have to admit I called Locke a bitch. I wasn't screaming whne my bones were sticking out. But then he jumped up and I said I guessed he wasn't such a bitch, lol. |

Lost would have been a cool cell phone number. I've been kind of disappointed with Jack's character this season and maybe even some last season. I was
really hoping to see more about how he became so distraught and suicidal. I wanted to see what drove him to that and how he became so sure that they all had to
go back. I'm hoping we'll get to see that in the next few weeks. Maybe we'll see his conversation with Locke in the episode called "The Life
and Death of Jeremy Bentham." At least I think that's what it's called. Anyway, we haven't had much Jack story yet and I hope when we do
it's the stuff I want to see.

I'm always down with seeing more Jack. But I'm not disappointed that we weren't given more details as to how he became a suicidal druggie. Could be
we know enough. He found out Claire is his sister and Aaron is his relative and is hiding it from Carole and his mother. He's hiding the island stuff and
that in itself would drive me insane, trying to live a normal life when life as you knew it is far from normal anymore. He feels guilty that he left
Juliet, Sawyer, didn't search for Claire. Good old dead dad keeps popping up. Kate is hiding a Sawyer secret and who knows.. maybe Sawyer being brought up
made Jack mad at himself, not Kate. Locke's visit must have shaken him up a LOT. That we'll probably see in LADOJB. Locke's death drove him over
the edge. Jack started questioning all the things he brushed off before. Ignore what can't be explained is what he was doing in the past. He couldn't
ignore that Locke was probably right all along and lost control of himself.

poor Jack. then when he finally gets Kate to go with him to meet Ben, she glares at him and takes off. It's too bad she can't just trust him to know what he's doing. Maybe because of the drug problem. I know how that can erode trust in a relationship. |

That was incredibly awesome. I was totally digging it. It was a great touch. Lots of people are bitching about too much Jack tonight but I was glad to see
more of his story.

Awesome episode and NOT just because I'm a Jack lover. I like the way the writers got the Losties back to the island. It was believable. (as Lost goes
anyway) And no crash because they flashed with the other Losties.
Back to Jack - I think his transition is being done well. His skeptical smartass side is still showing, but his faith in all this unknown craziness is a new side of Jack. I laughed when he was talking to dead Locke and cried when he read the letter. Jears get me everytime!

I was yelling at Jack alot this eppy... I kept saying, "just open the letter, asshole!" heh heh I was afraid the writers
weren't going to let us in on the contents until some later eppy. I only knew that "I wish" was in there somewhere--- since Jack was holding
that on a scrap of paper in the first scene.
WOW- he has beautiful eyes. I was deja-vuing all over the place with that opening eye shot. I was all... "What the...?" but, since Vincent didn't come running over, I knew it was new stuff. I loved it when he was shoeing John's corpse. I love that Jack got the irony of the situation. loved that we found out where the white sneakers came from, and that Jack couldn't be bothered to buy his dad some nice shoes for the funeral. I wonder if Kate got preggers-- and is now the 'pregnant lady on the flight'. maybe it's fate's way of giving back a child, since she left Aaron behind. just a thought. I like the idea of Jack's seed taking root. lol |

Pregnancy never crossed my mind until I started reading the episode thread. I got the whole "reenact the flight" thing with the condolences, Hurley
buying a whole lotta extra seats, Sayid handcuffed, body in a coffin, etc, but never thought of pregnant Claire.
I knew from promos that Kate would kiss Jack but had no idea it was gonna be one of those let's get naked kisses. I did wonder why Kate was so hot for Jack at that particular time though. She just gave up Aaron and decided to go back to the island when she clearly never wanted to see that place ever again. Not sure I'd be too horny at a time like that. Maybe she just needed the intimacy and comfort from someone who loves her. Or maybe she wanted to get pregnant... We'll see. |

I wasn't smart enough to think of Kate getting pregnant-- read it on the Fuselage. Someone else's theory.
I know why Kate slept with Jack. the man is HOT. Kate has her needs, and it's been a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg time since she's had any Cracker JACK. |

Kate sure did get herself some Cracker Jack didn't she? But I found it kinda sad when she basically told him that the past was the past & they should
just move on. Was she telling him that because she intended to go back to Sawyer? That's the feeling I got last night.

My thought was I bet Kate gets preggers, but I didn't make the connection with Claire.. I'm thinking Kate gave Aaron to Claire's mom, it would be the right thing to do.. Poor Aaron though, Kate is all he knows.. |
