and/or connections.

Claims that reality juggernaut American Idol is fixed might not be false.
Pacitti isn't exactly new to the business. She has released a major label album in 2006 (Geffen Records), starred in an MTV documentary (First Year), opened for Sheryl Crow, and has had her songs featured in movies and TV shows, including Legally Blonde and The Hills. But aside from all that experience, she has something that gives her an edge over the other contestants. Well, make that two things - people, actually. Pacitti reportedly has close connections with Michelle Young and Roger Widynowski, two execs at the L.A. offices of 19 Entertainment - the company that produces Idol. How personal? Well, Pacitti refers to Young as her "manager" and "best friend" and "anal sex affectionados", while she credits Widynowski with "helping me get where I am today." The three of them even lived in the same L.A. apartment complex for several years.

is a ringer. On a side note: why is she singing with two mics tapped together in the miracle video? That doesn't make any sense to me.

like others have said before me, i think they totally staged her "stage fright" in an attempt to get the viewers to believe that she is not as polished a performer as she actually is. that way, during the semifinals, she will give an outstanding performance and people will vote for her like crazy. this bitch is totally heinous and she has got to go. i just wish there was a way to get the news to the viewers that pashitti is a fucking plant so that she doesn't get any support. most viewers probably are in agreement that american idol is a showcase for undiscovered talent, not a showcase for a third or forth chance at a career. |

Actually, she's never been on Broadway. She was cast to be the lead in Annie and then was replaced during out-of-town tryouts, before the show ever got to NYC. That was also 12-13 years ago, by the way; she was 11 at the time, I think. |

I love how they got Kara to acknowledge her label deal. They did the same kind of shit at her audition. They're trying really hard this year to be up front
about the plants to not get the same kind of back lash as last year.
Unfortunately her situation is even more enraging to people than any of the plants last year put together. |
