After hearing rave reviews about this show, I looked for clips on youtube. I was drawn in by George's pessimism and sullen attitude. I immediately went out to my local Target and bought season 1 on dvd. Over the past 3 months I've been watching the episodes one week at a time. They sort of helped fill the void that Desperate Housewives left during the writer's strike this past tv season.
Anywho, so, I finished watching the final episode of season 1 yesterday night. Just ordered season 2 through amazon.com because I couldn't find season 2 at any of the electronics stores in my area. Weird, cuz most of them still had season 1. I mean???
Anyway, Georgia's parents really remind me Bree & Rex from the first season of DH.
Now I'm just eagerly anticipating the arrival of the season 2 dvd.

Kinda sucks knowing that I'm half way through the series, though. This fantastic journey is halfway over at this point. It's going to be bittersweet. :-|
I was saddened when I learned they had cancelled this show. It really grew on me over the two years it was airing and it's still one my favorite shows!
I have both seasons of the tv show and once in awhile I'll watch an episode here and there, it's been quite a while. I actually caught an episode the
other day on the CW.
I'm glad they at least they have filmed the movie! Who knows if it'll ever come out. I can't wait to see it just to revisit this show, after
it's been off the air for 2-3 years. I miss the Happy Time temporary job service that George worked at! Dolores Herbig was hilarious.
