This thought is WAY out there, but what if JACOB is actually a composite of the spirits (or souls) of several main characters (ie J for John Locke, A for
Richard Alpert, B for Ben Linus, etc.).

Penny gave birth to a child named: Charlie...aka Charles Widmore. Then they go back in time on the island to around the year 1930 with young Charles
Widmore. At some point, Penny and Desmond die, and then Widmore grows up on the island. Eventually, he is exiled and
then leaves the island, marries Mrs. Hawking and then gives birth to Penny again, creating a loop. Note in season 4, when Ben sneaks into Widmore's room in
the night. Ben: We both know I can't kill you, so I'm going to kill your daughter. Ben says this because he knows that he will be
"indirectly" killing Widmore if Penny dies, thus she cannot go back in time with Charles for a second time - in other words, Ben would be altering
what is supposed to be written in the past, thus creating some type of paradox. This all goes back to the notion that Widmore was responsible for killing Alex
back in season 4

be a Tunisian waitress. Both Ben and Charlotte have ended up in Tunisia, unless they're going to start Rousseau in Tunisia and bring her to the Island? I
don't know. I'd love it to be her, though...
My mom thinks that Daniel is being careful not to romantically express love for Charlotte, because he knows that she is his sister or daughter, which is why their relationship comes across as kind of weird. I don't know if they'd be able to do that on TV, with the whole underlying incest thing, but it's a thought. |

I will be pissed if this is the route being taken.I would be beyond pissed. It's ridiculous IMO (please don't take offense) for Penny to be her own father's mother. Lord, I have put up with a lot of strange stuff from Lost but not sure I could get past this craziness. Why can't Charlie Hume just be... Charlie Hume?!! Re: Adam and Eve, still think that's gonna be Jack and Kate. The clothes matched. And as far as we know, Jack was the only one to have those b&w stones. Pappy, I don't think finding out the identity of A&E necessarily means they'll be killed off the show, it just means at some point those two people die together. |

Relax Flea, there are other explanations. Like he couldn't kill Charles because Charles is an other. Just like Locke couldn't kill one of his own and
Julliet was branded for shooting the guy on the beach. It's a seriously bad thing for one of them to kill one of thier own. Although... I guess Widmore
sort of blew that theory with the whole freighter folk going to kill the others part. But anyways....
That's how I'm looking at it right now. I don't like the other theory. For one, the names don't match up. Secondly, why would Charles hate Desmond so much? And who came first? Which is the chicken and which is the egg? Des never would have wound up on the island without Charles calling him out and Charles never would have wound up on the island if Desmond had never been shipwrecked there. |

I'm so weak. I have to say that I may cut a bitch if Penny ends up being her own grandmother. That would piss me right the fuck off. Also, I never got why
people said Jack and Kate are probably Adam and Eve because of the clothes. I could never make out shit in regards to the clothes the corpses were wearing, and
why would J & K be wearing those same clothes post returning to the island and eventually dying there? Now, I'm not saying I don't think they are A
& E, because I do think it's a distinct possibility, I just never got the "clothing" reasoning behind.

DIALED - I don't believe any of the Charlie Hume/Charlie Pace/Charles Widmore theories. Period. The child was named after CharlieP which is really
cool.
It just blew my mind reading these what ifs and all I could think was "I'm My Own Grandpa". 
I'm all good, but I swear if the writers monkey around with that child being anyone other than lil Charlie.. well bring your booty down here and throw my ass into an institution ok? I'm counting on you! eta - LMFAO @ Cindi cutting a bitch!!!!! Jack and Kate would definitely not have the same ol' smelly nasty clothes from season one. The clothes only mattered then I think because they deliberately put the same colors (not the same clothes, just similar colors) on the skeletons as what J/K were wearing when they discovered A&E. BUT it's not entirely crazy that they take the same colored clothes to the island when they go back. What's really important IMO is what Wisc (I think) pointed out, that Jack put those stones in his pocket and they were never seen again. Yeah I know he's changed clothes many many times since, but ... *shrug*

I don't believe the Charlie Hume = Charles Widmore crap either. That would be over the top and seriously tick me off. Also, I think Ben can't kill
Widmore because he was on the island before. Remember how Michael couldn't die until the island let him?

Mrs Hawking gives something to Jack that MUST go back with Locke's body along with a special item that comes in pairs that is related to Jack's grandfather. Could that be the stones? Jack's grandfather - Adam? Just a thought. |
