People like Bernard and Rose are too important to have simply blown up by the creek, so hopefully we'll get a spinoff where we see Rose and Bernard's adventures through time.

- Did Alpert keep the compass after Locke showed it to him? If so, the compass has been created out of thin air. The compass Alpert gives Locke is the very same one Locke gives to Alpert. It came, therefore, from nowhere, and loops through time indefinitely. This creates a paradox, though, since it gets fifty years older each trip through, even though said trip is only made once.
