I'm such a dork sometimes. When they said the baby's name as "Charlie", I just assumed Penny had named it after her father and I kind of
rolled my eyes. It wasn't until I read here that it hit me about "Chaalie". I had totally not even thought about THAT Charlie. *slaps forhead*
Another great episode. Finding out Charles W. is an Other. Wow. Does anyone else think the gun-toting chick is Daniel's mother? |

Okay, my favourite part was Faraday telling the chick they were from the future and when Sawyer found out... "YOU TOLD HER?" His facial
expression!

Methinks that we will see ol' Jughead again before the end of this saga.....

- When Penny had the baby at the beginning of the episode I immediately wrote the name "Charlie" on a piece of paper and sealed it in an envelope
until the name was revealed. I'm surprised some of you seemed so shocked at that.
- I'm guessing Ellie is Hawking aka Daniel's mother (she looked "familiar" to him) - I'm guessing Alpert, and/or the Others, are descendants of the "original" inhabitants of the island, i.e. the four-toed statue people, who were apparently Europeans who spoke Latin and named their overseer "Jacob" - My next burning question is how Alvar Hanso enters the picture. Does Widmore tell him about the island? - I have to assume that eventually, even if it's toward the series finale, we'll see the monster being created. - This episode makes it seem as though there are only six Losties left: Sawyer, Locke, Juliet, Miles, Charlotte, and Daniel. People like Bernard and Rose are too important to have simply blown up by the creek, so hopefully we'll get a spinoff where we see Rose and Bernard's adventures through time. - Did Alpert keep the compass after Locke showed it to him? If so, the compass has been created out of thin air. The compass Alpert gives Locke is the very same one Locke gives to Alpert. It came, therefore, from nowhere, and loops through time indefinitely. This creates a paradox, though, since it gets fifty years older each trip through, even though said trip is only made once. |

Antithesys wrote:I guess we are to assume that's the same compass as this one: http://lostpedia.wikia.co...ge:AlpertItems.jpg. That scene kinda makes more sense now, but I still don't understand what Alpert expected from 5 year old Locke... I thought Richard gave Locke that compass because he would recognize it no matter WHEN Locke showed it to him (like his constant), but the only thing I can figure from the "which item is yours?" scene is that Alpert thought it already belonged to Locke.. |

With all this time travel stuff going on - and Desmond and Penny's baby being named Charlie - I was kinda hoping that their kid was THE
Charlie as in Claire and Charlie -
kinda wishful thinking on my part. |

What I think will be interesting down the road this season is Mrs. Hawking's relationship with Mr. Widmore. If we're right, she was the mother of his
child. Now she's helping out Ben. So obviously the two had a falling out of some kind unless she's "playing" Ben, which I don't think she
is. I'm guessing we'll find out what happened between them pretty soon.

Can anyone please tell us poor pityful canookians what happened after Locke said ''I was born in 56'' ?

Locke felt the timeshift coming again. He begged Alpert to tell him how to get off the island. Alpert fidgeted. The shift occurred and the camp disappeared.
The Losties looked around puzzled. Charlotte passed out and started bleeding out her orifices. I think that was the end.

After that part Locke told Alpert to come visit him if he did not believe him. Then he asked Alpert to tell him how to get off the island, but another jump
happened before he could say anything. Then, Locke, Miles, Charlotte and Daniel are left in the big clearing. Daniel asks Charlotte how she is, and she ends up
collapsing (possibly dead)
Then Desmond got back to the boat and told Penny the woman he was looking for died, so it was nothing to worry about anymore. Penny knew he was lying and asked him where they had to go. He told her Los Angeles, and Penny told him they would have to go. I think that was it. |

The final scene showed Faraday, Miles, Charlotte, Juliet, Sawyer, and Locke all together again. Daniel went to give Charlotte a hug, then she collapsed, with blood streaming down her nose. She didn't look so good. That's pretty much it. |

That was fantastic. Just stellar stuff. Loved the focus being on Daniel & Des. I was pleasantly surprised that Des & Pen had a baby boy and was waiting
for the name the whole time. I like to not try and think faster than the show and prefer to let the reveals like that happen in real time.I'm glad Daniel
got another ep to really step up and the Locke/Richard stuff was great. The reveal that the soldier peeps were old timey Others was also great. Nice seeing
Juliet show off her Latin.
Need to watch again for sure. Love it. |

Only in my dreams.
And I think not actually. It was free of all the O6/Ben. Odd but I liked it a lot. Nice to have the focus on, pardon the pun, the others. |
