Just because Jeff's comments about the players are filmed before the game starts doesn't mean they don't contain clues to who will be the early boots will be and who will likely be the main characters. It's all about what he doesn't say really, because they no doubt edit out anything that goes against certain character arcs etc. For instance consider what was said about Paloma as opposed to Sugar in Jeff's preseason/early game commentary last season. Concerning Paloma, Jeff said something along the lines of "I'm still up in the air about Paloma, during casting she was great, but I think the reality of the game is setting in for her and it's not at all what she expected." Conversely, about Sugar he says something like, "she's very emotional, and people are going to ask themselves, can she hack it out there? I think people are going to underestimate Sugar, etc. etc. etc." Both were comments made pregame about the players, and yet they reflect the respective story arcs and edits of Paloma and Sugar. So when Jeff says Sandy will be one of the first gone, I imagine that has some bearing in reality, and that she will be another in a long line of older women booted early. Of course there could be red herrings, but last season Jeff said pregame that Marcus wouldn't win, and he still didn't even though practically everyone thought there was no way he could lose, so I'd say it's unlikely.

So I'm guessing an early boot for Sandy based on all of that. I'm also looking for Ben and Tyson to be big strategic players this season, and for Sierra to win the blonde war against Sydney, "who will fade", while Sierra becomes production's first attempt at Sugar 2.0.
