The reason that women are shat on is because there was a sequence in seasons 10-14 where nobody knew how to play the game. In those 5 seasons, guys won all of
them but guatemala, so if you take those five out the numbers become 6-6. The problem is that you have had a bunch of seasons like Fiji where people are like
OMG WE MUST KEEP TEH TRIBE STRONG, so they boot all the girls because all the girls cast completely sucked.

But the same mentality of Boot the Liability should continue into the merge as Boot the Threat, and in seasons 10-14 it did. Coby, Stephenie, Brandon, Bobby
Jon, Jamie, Gary, Nick, Austin, Nate, Candice, Edgardo, Mookie, Alex... all were considered threats.
Even with the poor gameplay, it's still recognized that Pre-Merge = Liability Elimination, Post-Merge = Threat Elimination. That same form of gameplay has been in play for 17 seasons. I wouldn't blame the disparity between men and women winners to poor gameplay, but to a lack of respect for female gameplay. |

But in plenty of seasons, post-merge threats have been booted pre-merge, and a lot of people have been sent home for being too abrasive and hurting tribe
unity, instead of just being weak. Even CI booted JP early, even though he was a great at the challenges. Fiji exaggerated the women getting booted early with
the have-have not twist, but it still existed in all those seasons.
