I think it's gonna be a really good season. (had the same feeling for TAR12 and didn't really feel it in TAR13) I think it has a lot more potential to be a good season. If it's true that the father-son, the short men, the token boring couple (winners ) and an all-female team are the Final 3, it could be pretty interesting. If the parent-child, older couples and drama-causing teams leave early, it can still be same old, same old. I had good vibes about TAR12 too but even in that cast which only had 2 duds, the worst one managed to ruin the whole season.

It comes from the Hispanola/Iberian Peninsula of Europe that includes Portugal and Spain. So Hispanics would be a subset of Latinos that came from Portuguese or Spanish heritage, both in language or culture. This is an American site, so we're using the American definition of Latino which is quoted on wikipedia as: "a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race." kthxia.

There's Lago di Vogrono, a reservoir lake and the dam bordering its end, Dam Verzasca was featured in a James Bond Movie ("Goldeneye"). 007 does a bungy-jump from that dam, which is a very popular thing to do among tourists! There's not really anything else thrilling going on in that valley (except for geology of course ) so I'll pick up that spoiler/speculation and, if correct, guess we'll see some bungee jumping as a task or a maybe even a roadblock? I'd love to extend this and post pictures of the dam and the valley (and the site of the jump itself), but I don't have them with me so you'll have to wait until I'm heading to Innsbruck again. -------------- So I guess, the death-defying stunt is the bungy-jump ala 007. UGH!!! WHY!?!?! I FUCKING HATE BUNGY-JUMPING! IT'S UNFAIR COZ THEY STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEIR TURN!!! UGH!!! ETA: WHY CAN'T I FIND THE SASSY OLDER AFRICAN AMERICAN LADIES!?!?!? UGH! Does the background look familiar to anyone? It looks like they took helicopters to get there. The ground sort of looks like a deflation zone within an area of dunes. The lack of vegetation puts it either directly on the water or in a really arid place that is probably too windy for plants to stay rooted. Thoughts?

Its probably Los Alamitos, outside of LA located in Orange County. The starting line will be located at the Los Alamitos Military Base.

But like the last few races, easy to spot the winners: He just appears to be extreme alpha male that will win despite his partner. Great news, the mom/son are not the first to be eliminated: This definitely looks like a pit stop congratulatory high five. These two might be my early favs, something adoring about the lady and their supportive kiss. Looks like their first task will be jump or maybe a rescue from a military helicopter.. COOL! Anyone have the link for the video? edited to add: Thinking now that the helicopters might be their entrance vehicles for the introductions.
