OK, when I came up with the begging rule I anticipated that it might be abused, but foolishly I really did not expect that people would be posting *beg* every
other update. When I meant tasks I meant stuff like Detours and Roadblocks, where people could just beg while completing tasks on the side (like while they are
working on Paint, etc.). I was prepared to give a pass to begging on transportation since... well it didn't occur to me that the whole situation would
devolve into 4-line "Money PLZZZ" skits. Interesting? Some were, yes. Cheap? Very. I had to pull the plug at that point before things got completely
out of hand. So yes, this was an oversight on my part.
Having said that, I can't fault teams for something that was still technically valid up to that point of time, so their money will stay. I'm sorry about your current relative lack of money, but to be fair, money isn't the only determinant of placing. As long as you make it through the next few legs where the money peters out, you should be good to go. |
