DAMN, Caroline was SOOOOO close to winning her match today!! 
But mainly, I came in here to post that... GRRRRRRRRR, Svetlana's probably going to have to w/d from the AO, as well!! She's not out yet, but I'll bet she's gonna w/d before the Main Draw's done on Friday...

Yeah, she's had a rough go of it of late, to say the least.
An Olympics final rematch is on tap for the final in Sydney, with Safina facing Dementieva tomorrow, the latter having just scored a crushing victory over Serena, 6-3, 6-1!!
Draws for the AO are out TOMORROW!!
ETA: Edinboro, have you been getting those PM's I've sent you with the links to live matches for Elena? I thought I'd check with ya about it.

Svetlana Kutznetsova is confirmed to play AO. Seeding is now official. Today I saw Marat Safin, Venus Williams, Andy Roddick and Jelena Jankovic Practising i
also got there autographs but nor Venus she only singed one person's. I will be there tomorrow as well and it is so hot here in Australia. Going to be a
rough and very hot on the 1st day of AO.

I actually watched the women's match last night. Elena played a very good match, hitting the lines on both sides of the court, and serving quite well (including getting aces on her 2ND serve).
'Tanked', my ass - Elena rolled. I'm not gonna spend time this tennis season arguing with trolls having < 100 posts.
I'm really surprised that Kuzzy didn't w/d!! I'll be surprised if she makes it very far. D, Dani could potentially lose in the 1st round - Casey's not gonna be anything close to being a pushover!! Caroline and Ana present even tougher challenges. Ferrero... he's on the downward swing of his career, unfortunately. Jarkko - Novak just started (ha, with the slightest bit of controversy on the 2nd point *L*)!! If Novak wins this match, he'll move to 2nd in the rankings on Monday, with the Fed falling to 3RD!!!! Jarkko - Novak match, LIVE!! Also, I'll post the link to Elena - Dinara in a few hours, when it's about to begin. ETA: Man, this has turned-out to be a really good match - first set, Jarkko!! 6-4. Anybody else here watching?

Man - GREAT match, guys!! Jarkko was 7-43 against Top 10 players; the highest ranked player he'd ever beaten was ranked #6. Jarkko Nieminen def. Novak Djokovic (ranked #3), 6-4, 7-6(3)!!! Federer will REMAIN at #2!!! That match also had perhaps the weirdest ruling I've ever seen during a tennis match! Edited just prior to posting... Swim, too bad Elena's beaten the bitch the last 3 times they've played now, isn't it?... and that the "little princess" won't ever medal in the Olympics singles event. Oh, and get your facts straight - Elena lost to Jankovic in the semi's of the USO (as Edinboro's already pointed out), and Zvonareva in the semi's at the YEC's.
