I don't think Rob stepped out of line when he burned Lex. That was Lex's problem for fucking up his own "business trip" and then turning it
into a real life favor from a friend because he was desperate. Where Rob crossed the line IMO, is when he bragged to his brother about how he snaked him.
It's one thing to screw over a friend in the spirit of the game, it's a whole other thing to boast about it like an immature prick.

i just have a low opinion of boston rob and i REALLY feel he was exposed on his fox reality show as a recipient of awesome editing by cbs. i am also very good
friends with lex and big tom and i'm sure that factors into my opinion

Yeah, that. Rob's problem comes in how he brags and laughs about it afterwards. He did it repeatedly. |

Calling Lex, one of his long time friends, a dumbass was completely unnecessary and just shows how immature he was and probably still is. |

He wanted Rob to destroy his own game by making an alliance(Lex, Tom, Kathy and himself) that he would have no way of winning in, destroy his relationships with Chapera and graciously accept a fourth place finish. Rob called his bluff. Is he immature? Yes, but he is not the morally objectionable one here. Lex wanted Rob to essentially kiss his feet and call him master. |

JFP, how come Sandra and you weren't casted for Vanuatu (ala Stephenie and Bobby Jon)?
Also, how come nice guy Rupert voted for Rob for the win? Shouldn't he be disgusted with Rob's behavior like you and not rewarded Rob with the win (even if it means giving it to Amber)?

i had no desire to do a non allstar survivor ala guatamala. i wasn't a fan of fan vs favorites for that matter. i can't speak for rupert, he's
responsible for his own decisions. you're talking about a guy who never wrote down my name and i wrote his name down twice

i can honestly say if there was never a rob c there would have never been a fairplay. i think he was the first to show the ability to jump from alliance to
alliance and be a bad guy in a "charming" way. i mean that as a compliment. i feel like the grandma lie overshadowed some of that. also, i feel that
i was fortunate story-wise to play the ultimate villain vs the ultimate babyface. not that i necessarily agree with who was playing each role. on my personal
list i have hatch and rob c as the best ever! but that's not what this thread is about

good tv and gameplay, success in and out of the game were my basis
jenna lewis made me cry when she didn't get her tape. that was the first time i cried watching survivor. i would go on to cry watching every loved ones challenge and therefore implored it into my game |

chapera rocks |

And I suppose you cutting into Lill personally at the final tribal, much worse than what was aired, was not being malicious? |

Yea, I think it was mentioned somewhere... maybe the Pearl Islands commentary... that Fairplay saw the sympathy Jenna M got at the auction in the Amazon and
decided to use loved ones to get ahead in the game. I can't say it's something I would do or highly respect, but it worked out and made him memorable.
Don't think I cried when Jenna L didn't get her tape... only times Survivor has brought a tear to my eye was Jenna M quitting All-Stars and Sugar scattering her dad's ashes into the lake. Anyways, it's late here...goodnight Sucks! |
