The story is very similar to what sa069 said. Bob has family in Massachusetts who know/are friends with someone who ended up working in casting, and it's through that connection that he got recruited and then "applied." Because yes, recruits do make a tape and fill out the same application. I posted about a month ago in LTS about Bob being cut and then called back. It was him who said "if you expect me to lie or deceive, then you might as well end the interview now." And they did. My own speculation was that he was invited back when they found out they were doing the "elders pick tribes" again, and thus needed to have a guy over 50 to fill that spot. |

There was also an interview with Bob where he said he left the interview with Jeff, and as he was outside the door, he was like "oh darn!" A person
from SEG asked him what was wrong... and he said he forgot to ask Jeff how Julie was since he was her highschool teacher. (The story went something like that)
So if Julie had a hand in recruiting Bob, wouldn't Jeff have mentioned something like that during their interview??

Okay, you guys have had your fun. Let's steer this thread back towards the intended topic.
Firstly, have we established that Brendon the millionaire is definitely not DHD (as they've named him in Sucks). They look similar but I'm not sure if his hair is dark enough.  
Secondly, are either Brendon or Debbie present in this pic of the Jalapao tribe? I know it's hard to make out, but they might be there.

I wouldn't be surprised if the people in the shots of the TC actually were stand-ins. The "shot of TC with
people holding torches" footage is seen every season and it's always been stand-ins used.

There was a recent post on Orgut that mentioned the date of Jan 14. It might have been referring to the applications and not the cast reveal, though. It was
in Portuguese, of course.
