Amanda's lack of a HII would've been a huge difference in the game... but so would the lack of Ozzy or Jason's idols. Parv might not have flipped if Ozzy didn't have that in his backpocket, since she could've taken him out at the F5 instead.

Amanda's idol wasn't unfair though.. I mean, Jason found his in one visit as well, so it's not as though Amanda's was any easier. Well, since it was a final two, it would have been Natalie and Alexis barring an immunity win from Erik at the final 4 and final 3 or Parvati at the final 3. I don't know if Natalie would have beaten Alexis, but she would have destroyed Parv in the jury questioning. Amanda staying in general after recieving the most votes is unfair to me. Just like it was unfair when Yau Man stayed in the game over Stacy. Also, in just the previous season, the idol was not rehidden when James left the game. I don't see why they had to bring it back for Micronesia especially when if Ozzy had not told people he had the idol/people didn't look through Jason's bag, no one would know it was out of the game when those two left. The whole game is unfair from the start

This is also why it pisses me off that no one thinks Natalie has the game won if Amanda doesn't find the idol. Her and Alexis are sitting pretty for the rest of the game after Amanda leaves. My intended comparison was Natalie vs Alexis. Many Jonathan and Eliza fans assume that because they befriended Alexis postswitch, they had the Natalexis pair secured. But it seems that Natalie wore the pants in Natalexis, just like Parv did in Parvmanda. Natalie was more friendly with Tracy\Kathy\Chet while Alexis was close with Mikey B, and look who went home? Natalie is a lesbian while Alexis has a thing for alpha males (Joel and Jonathan), look how they played the game? Post-switch Natalie liked Parv\James and disliked Jason. So after Jonathan left they allied with Parv, not Eliza\Jason (which was just as stategically feasible). And at F6 Parv repaid Natalie's loyalty by talking Amanda into keeping her over injured Alexis. It's a good bet that if Natalexis were running the endgame, Nat would work Alexis to ensure Parv was the last fave standing. (Though Alexis was closer with Erik and in interviews said she wanted an all-fan F3, I think Parv would have been a more attractive opponent at the time.) Yes Parv's #1 ally was Amanda, and Natalie's #1 was Alexis, but the Parv-Nat bond was almost as important.

And about Alexis and Natalie, yes, we all know the editing made them look like retarded followers. I would say this is somewhat true for Alexis, but not really for Natalie.

Meaning that before he left, Alexis had made the decision for them. Once Jonathan left, Alexis' reason for aligning with the other side was gone. Meaning I'm uncertain which way Natalexis would have gone at that point IF GIVEN A FREE CHOICE. Since Jonathan also buddied up with Kathy and Eliza with Jason, they had 4 votes anyway, putting pressure on Natalexis to go along. Kathy was very clear that she would have voted off whoever Jonathan said, but with him gone she would never work with Jason. So only when Jonathan left did Natalexis have a clear majority, whoever they went with. Basically I'm saying Natalie is a great player, and editing didn't do her justice until the Jason boot episode. The only thing I fault Natalexis for is sending Amanda to exile, instead of volunterring to look for the idol themselves. They should have learned their lesson from sending Jason the previous episode. Amanda is a huge threat to find the idol and friends with James (who they wanted to boot next had he not been medivaced). Amanda said in interviews she would have tried to find a way to save James if given the chance. She was thinking Faves vs Fans, no way did she want to level the playing field 3 vs 3 with a James boot (which is what Natalexis needed to have a shot to take control). I think Kathy would have been gone first if Airai had gone to tribal, given that she was literally begging everyday to be voted out. That would have left Nat and Alexis as King makers, and even without Johnathon leaving they very well may still have gone with Parv/James rather than Eliza/Johnathon. I think this especially likely given how much they both ended up loving Parvati. And yes Natalie was a great player, and the Nat/Parv side deal was hugely important.

We know she hated his guts, and wanted him out, but we never really understood why. At the auction, she specifically asks Probst if the HII was re-hidden after Ozzy was booted with it, and then she sends the guy she wants out to get it. She knows he can do it, because he did it once before, except it was just a stick. Then she proceeds to get him on her side again, and I was amazed at how she did this. So she gets him on her side, tells him not to play the idol, and the black widdow birgade does a split vote just in case he does play it. But none of that would have been necessary if she didn't send him to exile in the first place. So I don't really know what her intentions were. Maybe she didn't want to expose the fact that the Black Widdow Birgade was an alliance by sending a girl to exile? IIRC, the alliance didn't officially form until the morning of the auction (but it was in the making long before). Or was Jason the only person who had all of his money at that point in the auction? Regardless, while I'm certainly not complaining from an entertainment point of view, she made the Jason boot more trouble than it was worth.

Well there would only be 5 people drawing because the two (assuming it's not a three/four way tie or something) people who received votes would also receive immunity. Then Jeff just completely randomly approaches the other survivors to draw rocks. That's what he did in Marquesas. The order they draw doesn't really matter because the survivors aren't allowed to reveal their rocks, even to themselves.

Saying "hey you 2 got the most votes, so you're immune, but everyone else who didn't get votes, you're all vulnerable now" to try and scare people away from a tie is just.....ugh.
