Love the press conference! Gave a good amount away but not too much. I'm excited that you let us on into one of the big twists with Exile. Definitely a spin on what the original show's Exile is.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and hopefully you'll enjoy how the Exile twist works, because I think it's very interesting. BTW, my twist was created before I knew about the clue vs. comfort on the real show, but I figured they might do something related to comfort since it was the Garden of Eden and Exile would almost be like an oasis. I like mine better though and the clue vs. comfort didn't have much impact like I expected it to.

Some other predictions:
In response to "Does someone quit?; yes and no" I think that someone asks to be voted out (a la Chet). But that still means there's one less TC. I think it's either one of two things. Either finally GF took the idea of having a challenge at the F3 where the loser is eliminated OR someone is evacuated or perhaps is taken out of the game for breaking the rules (like wandering into production camp, possibly physically harming another castaway, etc.)

One thing I can guarantee is that no one will wander into production camp. I would not be able to write that well, but there's definitely *something* that impacts the schedule a bit. I'm purposely leaving it a big surprise though for shock value.

Again, great press conference and I can't wait to see the preview!

Thanks. The part I'm giving for the preview is probably the least exciting, so while it will be nice to get an early look, know that the best parts (the post-IC parts) are saved for the actual premiere.

How long does it take you to fully plan a season step by step & how long does it take you to write each episode?

It's impossible for me to estimate how long the planning stage takes because I'm always planning different parts at different times, but let me just say that it is VERY extensive. As far as I'm concerned, I do a lot of what the real show does because I have charts for each episode/person that plans out storylines and themes that I can follow as I write, and I have a season overview hung above my desk that acts as my "roadmap". Usually, the majority of the detailed planning is done within a few days of the cast announcement though.

As for the writing of the episodes, I remember answering this a few months ago so I'll look for my post, but my low estimate is about 60 hours of writing per episode. The high estimate is probably closer to 75 hours, but it just depends which episode it is. Certain ones take longer, but I've found that in the past I can get an episode done in 4 days if I work on it about 15 hours a day.

By the way your fan-fic is brilliant, I will be reading gabon.
