I had never viewed the show. I was approached in a supermarket. The head lady for Survivor approached me and my girlfriend and my best friend and asked if I'd ever thought about being on the show. A month later I was on the show. So I really didn't have a strategy going in because I never really viewed the show prior.

A hard working older man who rocked at challenges and was nice to everyone. But like...Matty? What the fuck. And the fact that he was recruited in a grocery store is the most ridiculous thing ever. They can't try to play off like they recruit to make sure they get an interesting cast, because one, Matty wasn't that interesting, and two, how would they possibly know whether or not he could be just by seeing him grab a carton of eggs at the store?
